SO! Our horrible weekend must be recapped and framed.

I'm sure you guys remember me talking about the bird that got into our house in the Chat topic, right? It was a bad omen....

So I drove my sister to work around 11. My dad got on the phone with this phone company to talk to them and try to get her phone fixed. It was around 1:55 or so when I went to take me a nap and he had been on for about an hour already. I got up around 3 and HE WAS STILL ON?! And then they tell him something about needing to be in the zip code where the phone was activated.... (walmart).

So, we then go to pick our sister up at around 3:30 planning on taking her over there. I decide to come. On the way.... my dad's car breaks down.... No one can come pick us up and we find out later anyways that the part needed is a dealership only part anyways so it wouldn't have helped anyhow. So, we waited until 4:40 for a tow truck. I make the comment "at least it's not raining" my dad says "wish it would. Would cool things down." ..... It pours. We are then forced to roll up the windows which means... no air flow. No nice breeze. Just hot stuffy car. "So... what part of this was suppose to cool things down?"

Whatever. We finally manage to get my sis later on around 6 and we get try to end the day on a more peaceful note. Except that just an hour after my dad goes to bed the dogs get into a fight over a bone (!) and of course wakes him and it was a pretty charged situation. o_O;; All the dogs are fine. *sigh*

Next day: dad tries one or two junkyards that might be open.... does not have the part. *sigh* He had to jerry-rig it and pray that it holds until the part comes in. He no sooner gets that done then new catastrophe O_O THE FRIDGE DIES!!

And of course we can't notice this in time to save things. Milk went bad. The meat in the freezer has thawed. .... We have no fridge. He spent the night taking it apart trying to figure it out. We noticed the defroster was frozen over so we just went to bed and let the thing defrost praying that maybe that was the problem.

Today: meh, of course it wasn't the problem. We are going to have to bring a repair guy in. T-T *sigh* At least we have a bigger freezer that most of our meat is in and we have this tiny fridge for our sodas that we have thrown the eggs in (I pray they are still good) and the milk that we purchased for dinner. Just a tiny little quart thing. The fridge is too tiny for a gallon. And several other items are now in an ice chest sitting on ice. We will have to go through and pray they do not spoil. *sigh*


............ DAMN BIRD!!!!

Few months? I thought it was going to take a year?

But the American release will
1) be full of the usual American MMO players
2) have a historically high probability of being behind on new content
3) probably have an awful english dub, because I doubt their budget includes high-quality voice acting for every speaker.

There's also a chance of losing fun joke items, special costumes, and seasonal events.

Complaints aside, it's confirmed to not be an IP-ban or anything. And enough players have english character names there's not an issue of blending in.
