I haven't the foggiest idea. In some cases it was just because the lease was up, in other cases it was probably because of the awkward people mum dated (either moving nearer them or away from them afterward), in others it might've been the jobs she or my ex-stepdad were changing to. I'll never know for sure. I used to get so confused about what grade I was in and how old I was when we lived in any place in the past that one day I sat down with Mum and forced her to help me make a timeline. Now, as long as I can remember what house/apartment/mobile home we were in at the time, I can locate the year and figure out my age/grade level for any given memory/life experience.

Oh. You're supposed to have reasons for forgetting how old you are?

I know how old I am now, but when I think back, I don't remember how old I was when we moved to Nursery or when I rode a horse for the first time or when I first started using the internet. I know where I was living when I first started using the internet because I remember the computer I used and the house it was in, but those types of memories aren't automatically associated in my mind with whatever age I was at the time.

Well, I'd have to count too to figure out how old I was when I did something or something happened. Isn't that normal?

I dunno! I know I did things but I don't necessarily know what year it was. I have absolutely no concept of time beyond a few hours. If it happened a month or two ago I might still get confused and think it happened a week ago.

Really? Maybe I have a really good memory? I'm surprised that people have such a difficult time placing moments in time. While I can't recall specific dates and things like that I can certainly place events in my past very very accurately. Perhaps more accurately than others.
Sometimes I HOPE desperately that people have a worse memory than me so that they can forget all the embarrassing things I've done.

My memory is terrible, my first memory is from when I was just turning 7. The rest of the things I remember were told to me since then.
It's nice because I can't stay mad at people unless they do something so horrible I can't stop thinking about it. People think I'm really forgiving but I just don't remember they did anything.

My memory started some time when I was 3. It was a really weird experience. I just sort of... knew things for no apparent reason. For quite a while I thought that was the day I was born.

^ I remember that I couldn't always walk, at least.
Not so sure how old I am.

My posture is getting bad. Doesn't take long to slump when I run out of distractions.
