Post Christmas complaint: My little sisters boyfriend is all sorts of fun after hes had a few drinks, but is totally fucking useless when hes sober. How is this possible?

Additionally: Refrain from hanging out with girls you have fallen helplessly for in the past as you may end up doing the same thing again and they may now live a great distance from you and you may start thinking all sorts of crazy plans that involve going to Bellingham and attempting some serious fairytale shit.

I just want my same stupid simple cell phone except I want one that isn't on the verge of breaking ;___;

I love my current phone. It is simple and functional. It always holds a charge, charges easily, and displays the correct amount of remaining battery life, unlike my old shitty motorola. The camera isn't awesome but it works.

I went to look at new phones and they were so complex. I don't want a touch screen. I don't want a keyboard... I just want a basic LG flip-phone. I trust LG to make a durable product.

I was offered this wafer-thin phone instead. I told them I would think about it and come back. I did not like this phone, but I liked it better than the other models they had available.

Maybe I'll just keep my current phone until it is absolutely broken.

You should get one of those early cell phones that may or may not fit in your pocket.

So my dad's hours switched not so long ago from night shift to day shift, which left me in a bind with work hours since we only have one car and one that currently needs repaired.

My sister who moved back in with us with her fiance (you guys surely remember that rant and series of aggrivations) is a bitch. It's fine. I get that she's got slightly different hours than I do. I do NOT mind fixing my hours to sync with hers (I LOVE this idea since I get like only fucking 25 hours a fucking week which SUCKS!!).

However, from day one she's all like "it's my car." "I don't want to be a taxi driver." "it's my car." "get the car fixed." "it's MY car." So, she handed me her schedule that's changing with her new job and I'm all like "ok, I'll be happy to switch my hours for this." And she's like "Yeah, well, whatever. Just keep in mind this ends in a month."

My tax return money is going to go to getting the car fixed (it's been one of those things where we found out the problem, discovered the engine was shot, bought the new engine, now the engine just needs put it - this over the past year because WHO HAS THE FUCKING MONEY FOR THIS ALL AT ONE TIME?! We've been meaning to get the engine in but it's been like that situation in Pixar's UP where no matter how much you try to save money, something always comes up that makes you break the glass jar open).

Instead of syncing my hours with hers for this supposed month, I'm just going to fucking switch to opening position. My dad goes to work at roughly 5-ish. So if it's alright with him and my boss (me and mom just came up with this idea like two hours ago) I'm going to switch my hours from 6-2ish. Dad won't get arrive to pick me up until 4:30ish so I'll be sitting there for a while which means I can either work a little extra or I can sit there, relax, eat a yogurt, play my DS.

It's going to suck getting up that fucking early (since I'm the sort that usually doesn't go to bed until 2am even if I've gotten up at 6 the next morning) but I'm so sick of hearing her bitch that I'm just going to chop her out of the damn equation.

So, not only do I get more money this way work-wise, but I also KEEP more money. Somehow my $25 every other week turned into, after the grand total between her fiance asking and just to shut my sister up, $60. For just a half hour in her car when she drives me to work. I can be exceedingly kind, and I have no problem with this as she's doing me a favor, but when she's constantly bitching and just driving to the point where I was in tears this afternoon- I'm done.

I don't need her in my life.

Peeve: articles published on the web that are not dated, or that do that cutesy thing where they state how long ago from "now" (which might not even be now-now if there's any sort of caching involved) in natural language form. Fuck you. How motherfucking hard is it to put "2009-08-24" or "Nov 1, 2005" or something in the header or footer (preferably the header) of your goddamn document. And worse than no date at all: people/publishing systems that go to the trouble of providing date and month, but then leave out the year... or provide, like, day-of-week with nothing else. omg. kill.
