I hope your sister will understand that this is something you've gotta do. But this sort of situation is always a bit tricky, eh?

If she wants to be lied to, then I hope she lives a great life, but I'm not going to be lied to and I'm NOT going to stand there and take it when she wants to turn a blind eye when I try to talk to her.

If this is her choice then there's nothing I can do about it. -_-; But I honestly can't stand to be in the same room with the guy now.

Your sister is the first to move out but she and her fiance live with you? What?

^_^; Sorry I've been through the spiel before on the forums so I was taking it for granted that people already knew.

The story is roughly:

My sister moved out and went to live with this guy named Nate as a roommate.
They ended up dating. But he got laid off from his job.

So they came up with this brilliant plan to go to Pittsburgh to live with his parents temporarily and find them a house. This was some time in November (maybe even before?).

However, they have this pitbull dog. First his parents were cool with the plan but the closer and closer they got to the date of moving, first they said "Sorry, we don't want the pitbull in our nice home just after we've gotten new floors done." Then by the time Tia quit her own two jobs, they had given up the lease on their house, and were about to head up they finally said "We don't want Tia to stay with us."

Thus we got stuck with them. First the agreement was just a week - he was going to go up and try to find a place - but who knows what happened to that plan. Fucking asshole probably decided it was rather nice to live with a full family that would cook, clean, pay for him, AND watch his pitbull.

That's the story. I've probably left a few things out somewhere but you get the main idea of it. The only good that came out of it is that my sister now has a NICE job working at Sallie Mae.

And to solidify his never returning, my mom was taking out the garbage upstairs and she found one of her kitchen knives she was missing and then a drug needle.

Her and I are furious. She intends to show it to Tia and Dad when they get home. I dunno if she's going to confront Nate about it before he leaves.

Granted we have no idea how long it's been there but it's the fact that it was brought in to our home to begin with.

Yesterday before work Tia and I had a big blow out which left me crying all day. When she got home however, we didn't speak to each other about the argument but did our little "let's just not bring it up and have a good night and pretend for the moment it didn't happen" act.

No, it doesn't work in text the same way it does in the real world. Right now I just want to fucking BREAK something. I WANT TO FUCKING KILL HIM!!

So today I am in the shower, it's 9:30 and we are winding down about to go to bed. I'm in the shower and I hear mom, dad, and Tia starting to fight. What about NOW I wonder.

I roll my eyes and just think "I'll just disappear in my fucking room". But the moment I'm out I get on knock on the bathroom door from my mom telling me "Nate stole our DVDs."

Anything that wasn't in plain sight is GONE. A lot of the stuff that was in plain sight we realized had also taken a big hit.

Then Tia tells me to go check my video games. Most of them are there except for a few like Okami for PS2, Fire Emblem: PoR, and some others, but the worst one, my fucking Kingdom Hearts 2 game. >_<

Dad calls the cops and makes a report. Tia gets on the phone and yells at Nate.

Nate sold the DVDs but don't worry, rich mommy and daddy will replace them.

My video games, however, he said that he couldn't make any money off of them and that he really only stole them because of the morning of mine and my sister's big blow out on Tuesday I yelled at him and pointed out all his fucking lies.

And now they are SOMEWHERE in the house.

He said that the DVDs he intended to replace over time but he left yesterday before he could (bullshit as I remember on Monday looking for a movie through our collection in the cabinets).

But just... the fact that he took mine purely out of spite hurts even fucking more. "WHAT BASTARD? THE TRUTH FUCKING HURT? YOU DIDN'T APPRECIATE ME FINALLY POINTING OUT ALL YOUR GODDAMN LIES TO MY SISTER?!!"

So now I've got to go on Nate's little "Scavenger Hunt" to find my fucking games. My sister has went to bed and refuses to help me. Mom and Dad are like "Leave her alone, Marie, she's stressed out." I'M FUCKING GLAD THAT BITCH IS STRESSED OUT! I CRIED FOR HER AND FOUGHT FOR HER HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES!? HOW MANY TIMES DID I FUCKING HOLD MY TONGUE EVERY TIME THAT BASTARD INSULTED ME AND SHIT! I FUCKING TRUSTED HIM FOR HER SAKE!!

I remember one fight that we had when we had all sat down together to try to make ammends, he was all like "Ever since I got here, I feel that you just don't want me in the family. That you just hate change and that you can't stand me coming in and changing your lives. I just don't feel you trust me or anyone else."

WHAT IS THERE TO FUCKING TRUST!? I WAS RIGHT, WASN'T I, YOU BASTARD!!

Even I found myself almost ready to exude unspeakable curses and obscenities. That is just indescribably stupid and men like him are the cancer of this world.

Yeah, time to get Nate out of your lives for good. It sucks that you had to lose some of your DVDs and games, but at least it wasn't worse.

It's not even about the fucking items, you know. Those can be replaced. It's about the fact that we trusted him, we helped him, and this is what he does to repay us. This is what he's done to my sister and my sister's family.

I don't care if the stuff is returned or not, I want to still press charges. This little rich boy isn't going to get away with no consequences this time. I doubt our wonderful, fucked-up system will do anything to him, but it will make me feel better to just force him to think about it for once.

See the distance from my avatar to the right side of my post? Barring screen resolution, that is how close it came. That is how close a careless FedEx truck driver came to hitting my mother, who clearly had the right to cross the street and everyone else at that intersection responded accordingly. It bothers us more because that is how she lost her grandfather. Another dumb package delivery service driver.

This has not been taken lightly. I have already gotten the driver's information and the company has been informed. My associates will keep them in contact until there is a proper response. Here is hoping that man is taken off the road.
