MMOs are the baddest of RPGs when it comes to sucking up your time.

It sucks when you play with friends, you either have to not play when someone is out of the group, or go ahead and have that one person forced to catch up, probably solo if they don't want to get into another group.

I just leave a character in that range, or level up another to that range to replace it if I want to take the previous character forward.

Asian MMOs are kind of masochistic. The Thara Frog Card from Ragnarok Online comes to mind.

Oh, you want to PvP?

Okay, you need this one card which drops off one monster at a 0.01% rate, and it can only be farmed efficiently on one map which has nothing else of value on it. And if you get a better shield, you will need another card for it.
