oh, I'm sorry about not giving you the update about my mom.

She got out yesterday while I was at work. She was pretty groggy all day, but I'm not sure if that's
A) from the meds B) cuz she's really weak or C) she's caught a cold

... ^_^; I keep teasing her about C. My poor mom.
She's doing a little better today other than the cold. I think she's going to be fine. Let's just cross our fingers that she can get past this week without her heart doing any tricks again.

Ex-Lurker: True story, usually I stick to chocolate, fruits, bread, yogurt but junk food (like instant noodles) is fine too as long as it provides some energy. Music gives me motivation to keep memorizing pointless and random stuff.

Why would you come back to the exam room if you're finished? O_o
There's no problem leaving before the end of an exam, usually I'm given 1 hour and a half but I end up completing the exam in 30 minutes - 1 hour, whether it's too easy or I go "fuck that shit I wanna put an end to this quickly".

Preparing for finals is the period when you can be less patient and a bit bossy to have privacy, especially when your relatives want you to do something you're too lazy to do.

It's not even that I don't like people. They just make me so tired when there are too many of them wanting my attention at once. I almost want to throw my phone in a river. It's hard for me to keep up with all the texts I get 'cause I don't like being on my phone all the time. It gives me a headache. I could happily turn it off six days out of the week.


Anyway, I shouldn't complain. There are worse things. And I wanted friends and now I have some, so shut up Trifkin and be happy.

No, honestly, you're describing normal introverted-ness. It's a social thing, introverted vs extroverted. The best way I've heard it described is "extroverted people recharge by being around people, introverted people recharge by being away from them"

If you were to ask "why" I would stare at you intently for several minutes just to make you uncomfortable, then have to admit I don't know. But it's totally a thing.

And, obviously, extroverted people can get overloaded and introverted people can get lonely. That much just makes sense.

Yeah, that's how I usually describe it to people who don't know me all that well when they're confused over my need to be alone. I am introverted, therefore people drain my energy. It has confounded a few people and they seem hurt over it. : / That's when I get frustrated with being this way.

I feel similarly. My friend are upset when I blow them off at first, but I need my free time to recharge so I can have fun with them later.

Kind of like how I never get around to playing the rest of TWD game because it stresses me out and I like my time off to de-stress.

I'm an introvert, too, but I wouldn't say it makes me a bad friend. I think I'm a very good friend. It just means that I show it in different ways. I'm not the friend that you take to parties or get into social drama. I'm the friend that you come to when you're having a bad day and need to cry to.

It means that, instead of being a semi-good friend to fifty people, I'm a VERY close companion to maybe five. It also means that in five years when those fifty people are no longer your friend or have dropped off the face of the earth, I'm probably still there and still ready to be as close to you as before.

^_^ I'm the friend that you come to when you need to detox from your other friends.

See, this is what being an introvert means to me. I might only have three friends at a time, but those friends are extraordinarily dear to me (I truly love them) while they are in my life and I will always remember them even when they are out of my life.

But, I, too, am the same way Trif. -_-; Sometimes I just find my beloved friends very annoying. And right now currently, other than you guys, I have no friends, but I'm still quite happy. The interactions I get from people at work are more than enough. I just don't feel that need to connect like others do. It baffles my mom and my sisters. <_<; My mom took me to a psychiatrist when I was in elementary school. She just couldn't understand why I wasn't connecting with the other kids.

After a few sessions (including one where I brought the Wizard of Oz book with me and spend the entire session talking about it and even reading a few chapters) the woman said that I was perfectly normal. I'm an introvert - a "lone wolf" - who just happens to be happier sitting in a corner reading rather than playing with other kids (she had laughed saying that me talking about that book was the first time she had heard me talk so MUCH).
