I saw a therapist for a while a few years back, acting on a long-standing suspicion that I may have some form of depression—a feeling I'd denied, telling myself I was just being a lazy bum and nothing more.
I found it helpful to have a receptive stranger to open up to who wouldn't judge me. I talked about things I wouldn't talk about with people I know.

edit: Ah, I see what you mean now. No, the company I work for did not aquire Atlus's holding company.

Because I considered posting a snarky reply to the good Doktor on the phrasing of his request, the antecedent of "its" being perfectly clear. But then you made that edit which softened your post.

Ironically, my own post now requires clarification. I meant that it was clear syntactically that the pronoun "its" referred to the company Reynard works for. His pre-edit post appeared to exploit that technicality in order to answer with a purposely unhelpful clarification of the pronoun while indirectly denying your intended request for identification of that company. I took it as an amusing jab and that's what I gave him a thumbs-up for.

To be fair to the good Doktor, I don't think he necessarily cared to have your company or its holding company specifically named so much as that he wanted to know whether or not Index Corp. was a party, and you did answer that question.
