I got ran over biking to the subway again. Happens once a year, it seems. The lack of bike lanes/sidewalk on one side of a bridge sucks.

Ugh. My arms have been tired since I got hit. It's exhausting to do anything. Can't get my bike checked or go to the doctors until the weekend.

The entire building's phone lines got busted.

My internet connection is linked to the phone line.

I am subsisting on a WiFi stick connection I am paying for. I have no idea when the phone lines will get fixed. Hopefully within the week, but I'm not expecting anything.

I don't get it. Can't tell what happened. Why haven't I figured out what happened eight or nine or ten months ago yet? Not enough to go on for a pattern. Inconsistencies.
Blindsided, by what? How come I don't know more is another mystery.

So I went to the doctor yesterday, and she said other than a tense muscle below my shoulder, I shouldn't have any damage. The bike is getting replaced, and it might cost $150-180, but the guy who hit me is willing to cover it.

so it's all good atm.

People become less predictable when they say what they're going to do.
