>~< The folks who built the IKEA over here never considered the flood season we get near annually. There is not even an actual flood, but the constant rain was enough to totally wreck it. They evacuated the store so everyone is fine, but who knows how much money is lost from spoiled food and damaged goods.

And it's only year one.

I fell asleep when I was going to bed. Second attempt!

Nah. I think it was about five years all together. Figure they would have experienced enough flood to know what was coming.

Ended around April this year.

It is located on the edge of the city, a bit raised and surrounded by a lot of open land. I just sort of expected a system to be designed to reroute the water.

My fan is breaking a lot. I'm sorry, fan. I'll put more tape on you.

First day of teaching tomorrow. Hopefully it goes well.
