I will agree that things would be better if humans never happened. However, since they are here, I like to do what I can do make the most of things. What's done is done.

I forgot my work pants at home today, and a manager told me to be back within half an hour, and the only way that was possible was if I literally sprinted home and caught the bus back, the bus comes once every half hour, so I could only take it one way for that to work. It's a 15 minute run, going as fast as I can. I checked with him, I said "you know that means I actually have to run as fast as I can for 15 minutes with no shoes?" (I only had flip-flops and work shoes that couldn't leave the building.) All he said was I had to get back in half an hour. I made it back on time, but then my knee that needs surgery again is all swollen and my feet are stinging like mad. I went on to work a 5 hour shift, waited for a lull in the orders and went to talk to the store owner. I told him what happened and he said it was my mistake, and I agreed but said in no way does that mean his manager can punish me for that. A time frame that small when I have no car is completely unrealistic and unfair. I did him a favor by coming back to work, if I had have quit like I wanted to he would have been FUCKED tonight, Fridays are our busiest day. Anyways, I'm still fuming and tomorrow I'm going to give my two weeks so I get my paycheck at least.

I made a mistake and I should have been sent home and told to come back within a reasonable time-frame, but running like a fucking dog is not something I'm ever doing to keep a shitty ass minimum wage job with such shitty hours.

I know exactly how and why I'm born. I didn't suddenly materialise without apparent reason. It was all premeditated and deliberate. There's a papertrail, and everything.
