Ugg, it's a good thing drinks only cost .25 at our vending machines at work. So I've been experimenting with healthier foods and better portions. Since it's a sit down job I really want to be careful and not get any fatter than I am and HOPEFULLY fit in gym time again.
x_x I know cereal has a way of crashing me but I thought "oh, it's a sit down job, let's try it." ... At the first 15min break I was like "maybe I should eat something just in case...." but I was like "noo... I really wanna test this if I can make it to lunch." "you sure? there's yogurt? that's healthy?" "no!" I start to return from break and then my body has its meltdown. I go to sit down at the same time the teacher is like "one moment, I'm going to go to the bathroom afterall" ... I took that moment to run to the vending machine and get me a yoohoo, something with some sugar to boost me back up. It worked but that was still a close one o_o; it would have been another two hours (in which I had to focus and take quizzes) before I could have gotten food.
So cereal is out. Salad is in ^_^. I can definitely do salad for lunch without worrying about an afternoon crash.
The hard part... they have glazed honey buns in the machines... that's like a BIG snack food weakness of mine. ... *gulp* ... omg... x_x GOD IS TESTING ME I KNOW IT!!! NO I HAVE TO EAT HEALTHY... T-T

You know that commercial with the guy with a cellphone, running, listening to some audio book, and then gets to the end of the book and stops running, starts another book and starts running back.

I have my reasons. Part of it is that others expect it of me, but I do want to go for myself too. I am just now realizing what I will have to put up with in order to figure this out for myself.
