Wait, I didn't realize that Oakland was in California...

Wait, does this mean that I'm in driving distance from Starfe? o_O

Sometimes I think about moving to California... Partly just to come over and bug you guys. :3

I don't really pay attention to the location of places that I have no intention of visiting.

Plus I did not grow up in the area.

when did you move to california?

Uuuuuuuh... Kind of 6 years ago? I didn't really go more than 5 miles away from where I lived until I got a car, though, which was in February of this year. For the first 4 of those years, I very rarely went more than 2 miles off campus.

So long story short, I really had no reason to know or care where Oakland was, so I didn't.

I've lived in CA all my life and only have a vague idea of where Oakland is. Probably to the north of where I live. Or something.

I live waaay south of Oakland but my family is taking a trip to that area in a couple of weeks

I might study in California, but there's a lot of uncertainty because of exams, interviews and recommendations...
