I have been awake since 4 this morning when I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. I tried taking a nap later on and couldn't even keep my eyes shut... until it was time for work. Now I'm a little delirious and I have had waaaaaaay too much coffee.

@Starfe: I've been there as well and you summed it up to a "T." It's a truly horrible situation and, admittedly, is something I now keep in mind at all times. I wasn't so lucky before.

I wish you the best. Seriously. It's a BS situation to be in.

Maaaaan, I had a dream that I was writing the first few paragraphs of a book that sounded really good! But now I can't recall the wording or anything. I just know it sounded like a futuristic dystopian at first but was actually Earth's distant prehistoric past. I'm guessing the ending of the book was probably going to be pretty damn disastrous.

Complaint for the day: I'm not sure where the day went. I had things I needed to get done but the hours have disappeared. I'm almost certain they were stolen.

As someone who works in an impoverished area that is highly segregated by race I am always extremely angry when I read tumblr social justice stuff. They're not wrong, but its always very ideal and uninformed. If you want to talk a big game about how to fix the hood, come down to the fucking hood for a week. Deal with the students who carry guns. Deal with the trap house a block away. Deal with students who are prostituting themselves to help their families. Then tell me that posting shit on the internet to raise awareness is helping.
