I'm not understanding what you're telling me to go for. I can't think of anything beyond waiting that wouldn't be out of fucking line at this juncture.

Third time I was about to cry, college stuff is so overwhelming and time-sinking it puts a huge strain on my nerves. I even ended up being colder, harsher and more assertive (but it's not necessarily a bad thing)...

From what it sounds like, when Rey said he was interested in a girl, it's not someone he knows very well yet so it would seem maybe a little over the top for him to drive three hours to casually bump into her. "Oh, fancy meeting you here! I was just in the neighborhood..." probably wouldn't work right now.

You said you were interested in her, so I suppose that means you don't know if she is interested in you as well? If so, you should make that your first priority, finding out whether or not she's interested in you, be it as a friend or more than a friend. If you have her contact information, you could just casually chat with her and get to know her a bit better. Look for things you two have in common, but also for the differences. If there's too many differences it usually won't work out.
After getting to know her a bit better, you two could just hang out, as friends. Eat some ice cream, get a coffee, watch movies, whatever friends these days do, I have no idea. After you two know each other and spend time with each other it should be easy to find out whether or not a relationship would work, and distance is not a problem, as mentioned several times above.
If you're worried about what she'd think of you for going out of your way just to see her, don't worry. Women tend to (they tend to, not all do, but they tend to) appreciate that sort of effort. Basically, what I'm trying to say is, without seeing for yourself you won't know what you'd miss out on.

The most important is that you make her comfortable and don't rush anything. It's okay to take time with those things.

Burst into tears twice because I was constantly bugged by my parents, although they know that my year as a Senior is going to get busier and busier. I hate being interrupted, whether I'm on a assignment or relaxing after cramming for hours. Besides I even snapped at a classmate (but it was somewhat deserved). The lack of time to get important tasks done stresses me out...

Good luck, Cotton. I know how frustrating it can be to have people interrupting you when you are stressed and working on something important.

EDIT: Though, to be fair, it was pretty difficult to pick up on what you actually meant without already knowing you fairly well 'cause what you actually said wasn't clear enough.

To be fair, I was distressed and somewhat preoccupied at the time. The original post was rewritten multiple times until I decided to say fuck it and just post SOMETHING to vent. If I could have correctly articulated what I was trying to communicate at the time, I would have.
