Alright, so after getting bored of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, I started my search for another DS/3DS title to get so I can call my life just that much more amazing, so I hunted around my rather large favorites list of games on Amazon that I thought at least looked interesting. At first, I was thinking about getting Final Fantasy Tactics A2, but then, yesterday, the most unthinkable thing imaginable happened. While clicking on my aforementioned favorites folder of games, I clicked too fast or something, and ended up onto a page for Avalon Code, which I hadn't looked at in a quite long while. I stayed on the page because I was bored, and what do you know, I eventually found the game to be, as they say, just my type. Unfortunately for me, I can not find ANY copies of the game with the box, and I just so happen to be one of the few people who likes to keep their games all lined up neatly and have them look nice. I know that there HAS to be a version with the box somewhere, but it's probably about two-hundred dollars or something insane like that. And now I can't bring myself to get Final Fantasy Tactics A2 because I know that there's a game that I want oh so much more out there. Ah well, back to Animal Crossing, then...

Aw, that sucks. Avalon Code is pretty good. Maybe you can get the box and game separately?

I forgot to ever save and lost 17 hours of data on it, and never wanted to replay it. It is a great game, though.

I done fucked up. Starting a presentation that I present at 9 tomorrow now, at 11 pm. Might have to pull an all-nighter. It's a big one.

The Namco store is fucking awful.

I pre-ordered Jojo's Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle, the game has been out for two weeks and I still don't have my copy.

even though the old JJBA game was capcom and even though the previous game done by the devloper was capcom?

Yeah, Namco published this one, I think they did in Japan too.

So, on 24/10/12 I finally got a slim 360. Since my room was on the other side of the house from the modem, I had never bothered to connect my 360s to the internet but now that I had access to the slim's Wi-Fi I said "What the hell?" and gave it a go.

Unfortunately, it did not turn out well. Something went wrong when it was transferring my profile to the cloud (which I attribute to the laggy internet I had at the time) and, as a result, I lost a bunch of achievements that I had unlocked, to the sum of nearly 10,000 points. Most of them just re-locked and took their points with them, but what is really strange, is that for a couple of games (Chromehounds, for example) on the it shows that I have no achievements for the game, but if you actually enter the game's they show up as being unlocked, though they aren't counting towards my totals.

The humorous thing is that since which achievements I lost seems to be completely random, for some games my achievement list appears impossible. For example, on Oblivion (which was one of the few games I've ever bothered to get 1000/1000 for), I still have the achievement for beating the main quest line, but no longer have the one for beating the tutorial.

I never gave a crap about achievements before, and I still don't, but this really annoys me. I know that I earned them and that my gamerscore is far lower than it should be, and it bothers me a lot more than I'd like it to.

Oh, and for anyone that doesn't know, Microsoft's official stance in this situation basically boils down to "tough luck".

Also, just in case anybody has a look at my profile (my GamerTag is Apolloncrash) I am aware my avatar is fucking terrible, so please don't mock me for it. In my defence though a) I made it the day the update forcing them on you came out, so I was still pretty young/had limited options to work with and b) I hate them with a fiery passion, just like I do Miis, so I didn't really care how bad it looked and can't be bothered to try and make a better one.
