Oh wow. This person I was talking to yesterday was not my friend, but her twin sister.

The twinniest of twins kind of twin.

It doesn't help that my friend talks about me to her alllllll the time apparently and shares pictures so she must have known enough about me enough that I wouldn't detect a lack of familiarity. How awkward.

Been there! In grade 6 a friend of mine and his twin brother looked identical. I was new to the school that year and didn't pick up on which was which for ages! I'm still good friends with the one of them I was back then, and I hung out with both last night actually. One's taller now, luckily.

Ha ha, yeah.

My old man has a twin brother. People would be like "Oh, I saw your father at the store the other day." or "I gave your pops something to give to you. Did you get it?" Also, they both took the same career choices, play for the same band, and work for the same employers!

When you think about it, it's nowhere near as awkward for you as it is for the twins themselves. :b

^ Took me years to tell my twin-cousins apart. But I could always slap the correct one, somehow.

I have some cousins that are twins but I barely know them, but years ago did we stay with them a long time. It was hard to tell them apart at first, but more than visual differences I looked at the way they 'acted'. One of them was more... 'active' than the other. Even just standing at ease, one was just so more vibrant than the other. About two weeks in I had no problems distinguishing the two.

I agree, that has to be awkward for the twins. An absolute invasion of self and individuality.

On the other hand, a constant opportunity for pranks and a best friend for life? Sign me up!

At some point, I think one's mood kind of shows on their face, twins included. For example, my father is a super serious, logic-oriented guy, while his brother is super laid back and relaxed. Typical cool guy.

Everyone, twin or otherwise, has a personality written on their face. Just looking at Zamisk I can tell right away he's a complete dork, for instance. ◔ᴗ◔

Just kidding. Getting back on topic, it's FRICKING COLD OUT GOD DAMN. I had to bundle up to do some work outside, hence the extra layers.

And I heard it's even colder in Hongerpeg, too. Yikes.

To confirm Zamisk's statement, it is indeed very cold in Hongerpeg. For some reason, the season this year went from late fall straight to blistering cold winter. None of that soft, subtle, beautiful winter mornings where you can take in a nice breathing of refreshing cold air. No, just "go outside naked for ten minutes and you'll die" and death-inviting icy roads. Or maybe it's because my body is adjusting to a new chemistry that my usual resistance to cold just isn't as potent as it should be.

No longer have any body to share a bed with. Afraid the doggy isn't at this residence.

Ah, the classic 4 am dilemma. 5 is too late to bother going to sleep if I want to feel rested, but is 4?
