My Wii Might have fucked up my xenoblade copy and if it did i sware to god i wll stab something. I payed 80 bucks for it and if my Wii decided "Hey lets fuck up this new game" i'm going to be so pissed

Alright, It all started perfectly normally, the game was running fine, until the end of one of the boss fights, and then the sound cut out and the game stopped autoscrolling. then, the screen went black and said something along the lines of "There has been an error. Eject the game and turn off the console" and thats it. now it does that every time i try to run xenoblade, and only xenoblade. I tried other games, and they work fine. I'm just really peeved that my wii might have broken my brand new game that i spent all of my birthday money on. i was so exited and happy, and now i'm just overflowing with pure anger.

^If that's the case, it really sucks, but at least his game isn't ruined...!

Alright, so it seems that turning it on its side has got it running again, though i don't know the long term effects. I can't beleive i lost sleep over this, but at least my stress level is going down now that i can play it again.

EDIT: never freaking mind, it's still not working. it ran properly for only like 5 minutes and then it did it's thing again. i'm gonna scream.

Does the disk itself look fine to you? Like I said before if you can test the game in someone else's Wii or Wii U we can figure out wether your disk actually messed up (Which, despite your worry, I doubt) or if it's still a problem with your Wii reading it. I might just recommend just taking it out and putting it in a few times, then just maybe give it some space for a bit. Also, any idea on how old your Wii is, exactly?

I don't remember exactly how old my wii is, saddly. i'd like to say maybe 3 or 4 years, but it's been a loooooonnnngggg time. i'll try running it by my friend, seince the game has no scratches whatsoever.

I want to take a moment to say how absolutely dated the poll in this thread is. I have never seen such outdated memery before, and the meme overlords will punish those who allow such stale memes to exist.

Oh... should I remove it? I thought it was humorous... then again maybe I'm the only one who would laugh at a stale joke?
