Detritus. Scy is the go-to-for-help guy on the GameFaqs forums. I don't think you realize really who you are talking to (forgive me for using this strange line XD). He is the person that helped Zaraf with the maps for EOII (check any of them and you will see scy046 listed - http://www.intothelabyrinth.net/etriano ... af/01F.png).

He is the one who crunches the numbers. He's the one that usually comes up with the cookie cutter teams. You will note: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/gentopic ... ard=943642 the two most top post-its have his name on it, as I'm sure many other older posts do, but he probably hasn't been around those boards recently.

He has never said "his team is perfect" just that he is phenomenal at crunching the numbers and doing the math. He does not force things on to people however when people go to GameFaqs asking for help he will be the one providing the answers most of the time.

I think you are misreading his intent. He's an old hand at this. Listen to him. If it seems like he's pushing this on to people it's simply probably because he has said it to tens of people over and over and over again.

Alright ... I'm sorry you read that in my posts then since that wasn't my intent. Well, okay, yes, I did post a lot that EO1/2 are ridiculous easy but I've had that view since they released; they aren't as hard as people go on about. That said, I've also said the same thing for pretty much everything else people have found difficult. My view on difficulty is skewed.

@AppleInject - To be honest, your response to me was far more confrontational than anything I posted barring the random emphasis one, which I see the issue with, but that wasn't the intent of my emphasis; it was just to specify your (you in general, not you specifically) actions do not translate to others. But, yes, it read wrongly then and I shouldn't have used it in retrospect, sorry.

Edit: Just to clarify, I read your post as a "Really? You think that? Really?" which was probably not how you meant it. That was my bad and my response didn't help the situation.

And, yes, I do agree with you (and others) that it is most likely a new feature, if only due to the giant "PLAY" button there; it, however, isn't 100% known yet and other options do exist, as "silly" as they sound due to what we've done in the past. That was all I meant from this.

@Detritus - What the hell have I even said recently of that nature? On this subject, I just questioned why he's so certain they're something new since nothing flat out denies the possibility short of "I used X just fine so these have to be new."

I've mentioned the RDW/GH group once and that was in response to you in regards to "forcing opinion onto people" to demonstrate that I chose my EO2 group based on what I wanted. It just happened to become the "cookie-cutter" group afterwards; I didn't choose it because it was the "best option" but chose it because I wanted too.

Seriously, when have I flat out said your group is terrible? The closest is the joke post with "Seriously, Alchemists fucking suck." I haven't said much of anything here about EO2 in awhile (again, barring the "they were easy" posts) so I'd like to know where this occurred.

Sorry, I've stated that I'll be doing my math still and will be posting it here; you can ignore it if you want but I find the information to help people make informed decisions. I don't force it down your throat "YOU MUST DO THIS" but I do hope people take it into consideration. I'll default response to using those if people need help but by no means is it a "my way or else" thing.

@Maxine - I'm just an asshole, true story. I understand Apple's issue since I misread his post and responded with something that read too forceful; I don't get Detritus since I honestly can't recall a time I jumped on him over something. Is me saying EO1/EO2 isn't hard being a jerk? That's honestly the only recent EO1/EO2 thing I've said so I suppose it has to be that.

Edit: And, yes, I do realize that that is kind of an asshole thing to say if someone is having an issue with it; "oh that? yeah easy." So, if that's all it is, I'm sorry for that and I don't mind helping if you need (/want) it; if it's something else that I've forgotten, then I want to know because I really don't intend to be an arrogant son of a bitch and I'd like to be able to apologize for what I've done in particular, not in general.
