I haven't really decided what I want to go with for my team, but I'm leaning toward Princess, Zodiac, Buccaneer, Wildling and something else.
I never got quite as into the serious hard core party perfecting in EOI and II. Really, I just enjoyed playing with the party I liked and I'll probably do the same with this one.
Still, I've heard the Buccaneer isn't that useful. Opinions from people who know what they're talking about?

No, Scy, please don't leave! ;___; I don't want to have to go anywhere else to bask in your glorious knowledge

I really don't mind too much but it is a little weird to have the same advice in the span of three posts.
Maybe I should copy/paste more.

So for my new guild, Lotus, I went:
Monk (Ming Yue)
Gladiator (Drake (Returning Landsknecht from 2))
Ashleigh (Hoplite)
-
Yumi (Ninja)
Marcus (Prince)
So far, Drake has been doing great damage with hammers. Ash backs him up. Ming... still trying to figure out how powerful fists are (please tell me bare-hands get better, or there is equipment), but for now, she heals the prince so he will keep healing. Yumi is able to attack, at least.

..... How do others use Princess to heal in the first floors of the game? I can't imagine even trying to do it. o_O; I'm very curious now.

By level like 5 you have access to Royal Veil and King's Victory Song (technically 4 but whatever). By Level 9 you're gaining life for every step with King's March.
Just have a few Medica to spot heal until then. It's not that hard, really.

Or put a point in the monk's healing spell. Save you a little money, though it'll cost you a rest later. I use it right now to keep the prince at full.

Aww but you'd have to really know what you are going to do in that case. I'm still learning the skills, going down the list and reading and wondering "hrrrm... is that any good?"
