Need a little bit of help here.
Got most of my main party figured out - here it is. (And yes, I'm a HUGE FFVI fan.)
Setzer - Front line Rapier Bucaneer
Cyan - Front line Gladiator (will upgrade to Shogun when available.)
Edgar - Back line Prince
Samus - Back line Arbalest
I'm not sure what to do for my fifth. Here are what I've been kicking around.
Front Line Hopalite - I'm just not a big fan of the Hopalite in this game. I loved the Defender last game, but I'm not sure why the Hopalite doesn't interest me as much.
Prince(ss) - Either line. I'm currently running with this - it seems to work out pretty well until the game decides to target both prince(ss)'. But their healing does double so my party very rarely needs healing.
Something else? - I tried a monk a while back (Sabin) but again, I wasn't too impressed. Didn't really seem to do a lot of damage, at least not compared to the Prince(ss). Thought about maybe a ninja, but again, not all that interested (yet).
Another note about my party - my play style leans very heavily towards passive abilities. One of the reasons I LOVE the healing on the prince(ss). I'm more inclined to run as often as I can with the auto-attack as opposed to trying to get the most out of the active abilities.
Thanks for the help!

To cover anyone on critical health or anyone you don't want to get attacked like a Royal Veil user. Honestly this move has been valuable to me from start to end.
Antielements become pretty important starting from the 3rd strata. Against the notorious midboss in the 3rd strata, Anticold makes the battle a lot more manageable. Also I can't imagine trying to defeat [hide]Kirin[/hide] or [hide]Automaton King[/hide] without them.
Also the evade makes a big difference. A Hopelite with high evade is pretty damn hard to kill.

Why would you get all that maxed out on every character? Ikkitousen requires a single weapon (rather, the off-hand weapon doesn't help) and character and multiple Ikkitousen's don't stack.
I do have a full-out damage group from my JP file (3x Shogun/Pirate, 1x Ballista/Shogun, 1x Monk/Princess so they can be self-sufficient) but it wasn't that interesting. Was fun watching something like 12 chases a turn though.

Feeling iffy about my wildling...it seems like I can summon something like twice before I'm out of TP. I haven't had a chance to use Dismiss Beast yet though, how much TP do I get back?
