Went and started a new game plus and I'm planning on using an all- [hide]Yggdroid[/hide] team ..xD
[spoiler]The general idea is that I'll keep using my HP cannon and Bodyguard ones but I'll add a Yggdroid/Ballista, Yggdroid/Hoplite for defensive purposes for the entire team, and even thinking about a Yggdroid/Prince.
TP shouldn't be a problem given that I plan to invest into the TP regen skill and for Hoplite one I can use rocket head and rocket jump to have 2 binds which should be more than enough for most of the Hoplite skills.
While the Prince variety also has the same situation in which I can easily keep the tp regen with 2 binds maybe even one depending if I decide to train up some skills all the way or not[/spoiler]
I'll let you know how it works out later...xD but it should be fun finding out though..

Isn't the early game gonna be a pain since you won't have subclasses till after the second stratum?

Nope since two of them are pretty high leveled from my first play through.but I might stop using those two once the others are moderately leveled for the third stratum.
Though I already unlocked subclasses because I rushed the first two stratums with those two, now I'm just trying to level the others so that they're moderately dependable for the current stratum, I'm on the 3rd one atm.
And I'm sorta planning to see how well it will hold up with post-game..the ultimate test..xD

So, now that my harvest team has leveled up nicely with Combat study, I started to use them to get a little money... I have 4 farmers with maxed Harvesting, 1 point in To market and the rest in Keen nose for now, and one Ninja. Two F in the front and the others in the back; they don't have weapons, just armors (medium) so they don't get one-shot if they can't escape, and then two Agility ring (the Ninja has only 3 rings and no armor). The general idea is to get high Agi in order to act always first and escape avoiding battles altogether.
The farmers now are about level 15 and the ninja around 12, and some test trips in the Second Stratum shows that about 90% of the time the Ninja acts first and manages to escape, if he fails the next farmer usually does, and rarely I take some hits. Without armors mortality was too high.
Now, I'm looking at Self's post about mechanics () and I see that equipping a Dagger instead of no weapons at all will increase my SPD? The armor penalty is ok since without a single hit will kill a farmer...
The next step I was thinking is to subclass the Farmers with Prince for passive healing shenanigans in case of emergency and the Ninja with Farmer in order to use first-level Double Crop for 1 TP and the skill to avoid encounters with reduced cost.
Sounds good?

I just made my 5 [s]Stowaways[/s] Farmers subclass as Ninja. Maxed Senpuku on them and watched enemies hilariously fail to hit something as simple and weak as a Farmer. The only ambushes I have trouble with are the "Dreaded 2nd Coming of the Gourd Family". One of them binds your legs =(

Prevent Order doesn't prevent binds. Spending more than one turn in a 5 Farmer battle is never a good thing anyway.
As for equipment I don't like spending money on the [s]Stowaways[/s] Farmers (Mine still has nothing but Dagger and Tweed). If I encounter something that binds legs, I pump my fist in rage and try again. Random encounters aren't an issue once you have Safe Stroll since it prevents encounters outright.

Currently rolling with:
Front: Hoplite/Farmer, Arbalist/Zodiac, Shogun/Gladiator
Rear: Princess/Monk, Zodiac/Ninja
It''s working fairly well, although the unlockable classes always irk me since you have to grind them up to scratch with your otherwise established party due to getting them late. Hoplite used to be ninja as well, bunshin for double lineguard power. Not quite satisfied with my current build solely because I'm lacking in SE/bind ability. Thinking about swapping someone out for a Ninja/Wildling.

Okay now with my next class unlocked I can work with a new party schematics. Hmm...Who was the guy that used the [hide]yggdriods[/hide] so well? I wanna ask him how he gets them to flow so well.
