As for sourcing, to be quite honest, I've not really looked at the info Maxine puts up (sorry etc.) since I usually see it before here. Hell, I see it before Nylevia puts it up usually as well (incidentally, they don't source their own stuff neat huh).

I'm sure I'll have knives at my throat for this, but I have the right to speak. I don't think Detritus was trolling, he just seems unable to write in a way that doesn't offend anyone. We should kind of know this from before. I doubt there was any bad intent in his post, and the issue he raised is a valid one.
Yes, this is a fansite, but that doesn't mean it's any less important to provide sources. (After all, you do provide links back to the official pages - the most important source!) My main point is this: if you found images on an imageupload page with no named uploader, then it would be fine to use them as you currently are. However, you are using (mostly) images from Nyleveia along with their paraphrased translations of the dev blog and magazine scans - and for that I think credit is due.
You would feel horrible if you put in lots of work into your own website - or anything, really - only to have someone copy it without a word, even if they weren't claiming to be professionals or whatever.
[spoiler]It wasn't very pleasant to read these latest posts and see it'd turned into something of a let's-bash-our-only-[non-official]news-source-to-make-Maxine MagicFox-feel-better event. I can understand the reasons why, but doing so is both unwise and inconsiderate, especially considering what this thread is for. Poor showing for this community.[/spoiler]
I'm not pointing fingers or degrading anyone, just explaining that proper credit is important both for courtesy and for the integrity of this website. We should uphold that!
