The little bastard definitely got me once, but I carried two after that. Still, I almost always pick the more dangerous option when given the chance.

Real talk: anybody actually like the 3rd stratum music? I swear, it's the only time I mute my ds.

I've probably got that song on one of my many CDs that are lying around the house. I prefer Labyrinth 6, though.

Third stratum's such crap! I don't remember having NEARLY this much trouble on my very first playthrough. I think I might've been overleveled that time though, since I've already rested twice this time around...

Anyone else have great difficulties playing if your party members aren't the exact same level? It's so stupid and impractical, but I always hard-reset if one of them dies on me and I can't nectar them back before the xp handouts. Also, I wind up binging on sea battles just before I plan on resting (so I can grab all the limits and stuff) then rest my characters back to the same xp levels.

I've probably wasted hours of progress doing this, on this playthrough alone... arbalists are surprisingly squishy.

I CANNOT be the only person that does this.

i personally didnt have too much trouble with the 3rd stratum myself... well i did.. but not like difficulty wise

it was the same for EO4 for me too, actually

those 2 stratums are so similar aesthetically and i was just... DREADING mapping it and going through it.. it bored me ><

i dont even recall my team having an issue.. they each had their roles and it worked really well... ive since been having throuble since the 4th stratum... but thats because i cant freaking decide on a party! DX its burning me out! haaaalp.

actually i think i have an idea for a couple characters
i'd actually love to try a 5RS ninja build taking advantage of Keburi no Sue (i know G is better, but i think we all know at this point i use weird stuff)

well i suppose i could always go back to what carried me through the first 4 stratums... N/P

royal viel + bushin + reinforce resulted in crazy passive healing (my 2 ninjas at full health with a lvl 4 protect order resulted in like 200 or so healing/turn from my ninjas? just had to heal them after splitting their health)

i only dropped it because ive read/heard that passive healing become less and less useful to the point of being a waste (minus form qi protect order)

hey! hey! super tanky isnt my prefered method... but it has its uses

i went BLIND into that *spoiler spoiler* *spoiler spoiler* with literally half HP, absolutely DRAINED of TP, and hadnt saved for 2 floors.

.... took 3 turns of PURE amrita-ing but i made it dangit! at full health! (PN, BZ, MG, NP, ZA at that point)

actually my current group is like the oposite of tanky... my entire team is Cloth armor'd.. well minus monk... but yknow... my monks never targetted

Edit: ive actually rarely used any of the tank classes (requna being an exception in EOU... an exception that lasted until class changing)
...ive yet to really touch a hoplite main OR sub (had a M/H for about a floor for line guard)

super tanky, yeah but i literally had 2 attackers

....still miss the royal viel bushin combo though....it was neat
