It might explain why i didn't remember anything about why my party of EO2 was composed of mid lv troubadour and 1 Hexer when i checked it last week after getting fired up by Videogame+ mail "your EOIII has been shipped" .

Regarding 1st boss:

[spoiler]I think he can use Mud Dive anywhere. I refought him this afternoon, and he was on dry land and still used Mud Dive.[/spoiler]
