While I'm at it, the [hide]Head cannot be Arm or Leg bound and the Body cannot be Head bound and, when combined, all three can be bound. The multiplier is 30% the entire time as well.[/hide]

Oh god, I just barely managed to escape the second stratum with my progress in tact!
I thought I was ready to take on the [hide]mid-boss on the 8th floor[/hide] and I was mostly right, I managed to take it down rather easily but at the cost of my monk and gladiator dying, the rest of my team had pretty much decent health as well (not quite full but not quite half either). So there I am sitting [hide]through the cutscene after the battle[/hide] and then it hits me, I have no warp wires (I forget what they're called in this one, something thread?). I'm on the [hide]8th floor[/hide] with my healer and hard hitter dead and the only means of escape is 3 floors up.
[hide]8th floor[/hide] wasn't too hard to get out of, I had a pole stone so I could just warp to the stairs of that floor and head back up to the [hide]7th floor[/hide].
[hide]7th floor[/hide] didn't go too great on my way up... Got attacked by those [hide]Octopus monsters[/hide], battle was going decently at first, Wilding summoned a bird, Zodiac used binary star, and Arbalist (second hard hitter) was taking out chunks of hp... Sadly my Arbalist didn't make it, maybe if she had more TP she would of survived but she had only 3 and that was no way enough to win the battle with her still alive. Luckily my Zodiac, Wilding and his bird finish up the battle, though very low on health, and head up to the [hide]6th floor[/hide].
Alright, [hide]6th floor[/hide], monsters aren't as hard so I thought it would be easy. I got into 3 battles on this floor though... First battle, I don't want to fight and just try to run. First turn, my run fails, second I manage to escape. Second battle, I try to run again, first turn I succeed but not without my Zodiac losing her life. So there it is, just my Wilding and about 15 squares to the exit. Half way there... battle.... My Wilding is low on health and I'm fighting a duo. I pound run like a mad man and boy am I lucky to make it out alive! After the battle I rush to the exit and escape with only my Wilding alive....
This is also the second time that a majority of my entire party has died leaving only my Wilding... He has saved my hide so many times now.

Holy Cthulu, Batman!
What gives?!
[spoiler]Wow, this place gives me the creeps.
Not as cool as the 6th Stratum in EOI/II, but definitely kinda scary.
Also, where's my "Secret Stratum Battle" theme?![/spoiler]

3rd stratum boss can go die in a fire.
[spoiler]No fair! Using a high powered attack against my horribly frail and underleveled team (LV25)! I bet I could manage his regular attacks, but that evil beam of doom is a killer. Yes, I tried the defend command. Even my Hoplite couldn't survive it. Guess its yet another regular grind against another boss. I swear, I've done this for every single boss or midboss in the game.
... The Abyssal Death your forced to fight doesn't count though. That thing is hilariously easy for a Muckdile >_>[/spoiler]

Beat the 3rd boss!
[spoiler]He is easy compared to the rest of the 3rd strata if you use Aegis Guard against that 'SUPAR UBER MOVE!!!1'
I'll admit he does hit pretty hard when he splits, but its nothing particularly different from what everything else in the strata can do (Plus my monk was fast enough to heal all injury). Now to work on revamping my beloved guild to match my dream team![/spoiler]

This is probably a dumb question, but is the Max Level 70 (like EOI), or can you raise the cap by 1 every time you retire? (like EOII)

Not really a rant...
Finally, after having to run away from all the FOEs on the second floor (Yeah, I'm waaaay behind you guys), I can go around and fight them on even ground. I proceeded to waste about 400en killing FOEs and warping back to town. But I killed them all...
THIS FLOOR BELONGS TO ME!!!
My floor!!! MINE!!!
...Until you respawn.
I'm afraid to go down to the third floor.
