Not sure if serious but that's exactly how it works.

Not really a rant, but more of a proud moment.
[spoiler]During the quest where you are supposed to kill as many monsters as you can in the 3rd stratum in 24 hours, I walked right into the middle of B11F, picked a fight with a Mother Dragon, and then CHAINED ALL OF THE FOES ON THE FLOOR into one massive fight... and won. I was so amazed when the battle ended and I saw ALL that experience...[/spoiler]

So...made it to B19F. Apparently, it's called [hide]Maddening Abundance of Gates[/hide].
I can just tell it's going to be fun.

Update for today is mainly me exploring the ocean and finding spoilery boss stuff.
[spoiler]Good 'ol Golem is back. Boo Regen, boo magic counter shield, and go me killing it on the 3rd mission which gives you 3 strong zodiacs and me selecting my lv20 Hoplite and lv21 Princess that have been gaining levels via Combat Study. Took a ton of tries to figure out how to manipulate the fight just right in order to get a win, but hey, it works. Getting a new limit which is basically Aegis Defense, but for elemental attacks, is cool too.
Working on a 5 person Farmer team designed to get tons of rare items from Chop/Mine/Take points. Works damn good as I can get around 6-7k per run from the take point on B9F.[/spoiler]

That fight isn't so bad but I found it strangely hard to [hide]get the Conditional Drop of "Kill while Blinded" from him. That and it felt weird not having to kill Golem with instant death for his drop like always.[/hide]

Woohoo! Starting to feel pretty goddamn confident! Just took down my first optional boss with relative ease!
[spoiler]SUCK IT, WICKED QUEEN! Wave after wave of minions just means I keep triggering Bloody Lance! When you get to Hell, say hi to Stalin for me![/spoiler]

Okay, I just kinda got screwed.
[spoiler]I was for the first time, exploring B10 floor. I was like "Okay, lots of lava, I'll be okay, I have max monarch march." So I freely map the place, face some monsters and before I go into the next room I decided "Hey, I should probably use William [My farmer] Keen Eye... I use it, and see ALL THE FOES in the next room. Okay, I figure out how they work, find the spring in the top right, think "sweet". Anyways, I go through the next couple rooms honky dory and while I'm mapping the middle section of B10, I notice a door past all the lava, now, I haven't been all the way around the room for Olympia to tell me I had to be here, so I was TOTALLY OBLIVIOUS to the fact that I was about to fight something [Thus, I was ill-prepared since I tend not to bring my medicas and Amitrias unless I know I'm going to fight something tough, and I don't have party heal on my monk yet.] I approach the moon door, Olympia talks to me, and as she talks I'm going more and more like "oh crap do not tell me I have to fight something." With no choice box, we march RIGHT IN, and Instantly fight the thing.
Okay, let's put it like this: Here's my party:
Darion The Gladiator [Sub class Bucaneer]
Maxium the Hospitalite [Sub Class Ninja]
Hida the Monk [Sub Class Princess]
Back Row
William the Farmer [Sub Class Prince]
Sera the Princess [Sub Class Ninja]
The strategy I use is basically, keep back row at full health for auto healing, Kill things with Darion [And Hida when she's not healing], and use Maxium as the meat sheild [Provoke + Max Parry and magic Parry + Ninja Evading skill]
Now, on the whim I literally ALMOST did this without much item help, [Necter II and Medica II being my only item help], I got the one on the right dead and the one on the left BARELY ALIVE when i died.
Now I made all that progress, and DIED. I gained AT LEAST 4 Levels from all that, and I hadn't saved. I WAS PISSED.
Then I decided to train my slaves up, get some money, Kill 1st Stratum FOEs, optimize equipment, level up some, and beat their ass. I was very, VERY satisfied =D!
/end rant[/spoiler]

Confusing the boss so that it kills itself: Priceless.
Epic.
Win.

So ah, kinda a gloat moment about the ninth floor, and my ninja being one luck woman.
[spoiler]
Okay so, run into some freaking dinosaur while checking around the geomagnetic pole, panic and use my ninja's petrify skill (which is level 1, so its a low chance of working ), bam turns the bitch to stone. Come up against another, do it again, and bam another re fossilized dino. Fire Lyxn attacks, do it again, bam, turned that crispy cougar to stone. Three times in a row and each one worked. I just felt kinda epic.[/spoiler]

The grind continues! Now that my maggots can finally take down the [hide]Ghost Ship[/hide], leveling has gotten a lot faster. Still a little slow though since [hide]Ghost Ship[/hide] isn't exactly easy >_>

Ugh...B20F...
[spoiler]Out of curiosity, who should I target first: the Abyssal King or Olympia? I've been targeting Olympia first but I always seem to die just before I can kill her. And the King has all of the devastating attacks, anyway.[/spoiler]
