Locked Door spoilers

[spoiler]So its come to my attention I missed the Star Key, which was right after Ketos. It seems my impatience for Shogun got the best of me there =/

The door in B8F is nothing special other than the two Scaled Dragons on the other side (And a, oh so precious, Luck Book). But they never stood a chance against my Ninja with the Jolly Roger rapier =)

... Then there's the one on B2F.

Its nothing special. There's some new enemies there but my team makes very short work of them. The issue is Golden Idols.

I never thought it be possible, but yes, if you thought the Gourd family was bad... oh man... you've never fought these guys. Oh man...

They resist all elements except Ice (Thankfully I made my Zodiac subclass Arbalist again). But what makes them worse is their Breath move.

Petrify on all characters.

PETRIFY on all characters.

Fucking PETRIFY on all characters.

I need to lie down.[/spoiler]

Sea Quest Boss spoilers also contains EOI spoilers.

[spoiler]So today I fought everyone's favorite EOI boss: Corotrangul! Why is one of the Forest Folk's minions in the ocean is a mystery.

Anyway he is laughably weak compared to his EOI counterpart. Anticold makes all his attacks do minuscule damage and Ad Nihlo stops him from resisting his primary weakness (Fire). He can inflict sleep, but its not a big deal so long as Anticold is up to reduce damage.

His real threat are his helpers, in particular, the one he starts with. The Bolt Strikers. They're nothing special until you actually kill them, which makes them counterattack with an AoE move that inflicts Confuse. Its great, when the reason you got your first Game Over against a boss when the cause was a confused Shogun >_>

I beat him with that solo Hoplite and found him pretty easy (Other than that unlucky Shogun incident). So I went with the two pirates next. Their favorite tactic is to kill any Bolt Strikers in sight >_<

That's it, I'm getting Prevent Order. Stupid NPCs... *grumble*[/spoiler]

Silly, Phaukz! Thinking you can build a party without help... I generally get in this mood on tough bosses today it's B8F Boss! YAY!!! Detailes below:
[spoiler]So all goes well, I complete all 2nd stratum quests, I can generally kill all the enemies on all floors-... and then Ketos shows up-... Brick... Wall... I kept my general party build Glad and Monk in front and Ninja, Zodiac, and Arbalist in back ( Egasp! No Hoplite or Princess?!! Yeah... -.- ). The worst part is I keep reading about some sleep attack yet I've never been hit with it, I'm just dying from the sake of dying. Hes AoE is raping my party. He'll attack one of my party members once or twice and then use that skill that brings my entire party to red and by the time I heal one or two he uses it again and kills two or three of my party members and by then it's already over... Should probably grind given I'm only lvl 22 but it still SO much rape and a few levels doesn't seem like it would help all that much... General advice, although this probably isn't the appropriate place?[/spoiler]

4th stratum spoilers

[spoiler]Well, with all my grinding and side questing over and done with, Wolken's Kickass Guild(tm) have proceeded into the Abyssal Shrine. Currently I'm on B15F.

So far, this is my favorite stratum. The difficulty is a lot better balanced here (Other than those Snakefish things and their Torpedo move). Although those infamous enemies formerly known as Deep One and Deep Lady make a reappearance as normal enemies, they're nowhere near as difficult (Thank God!)

The best part though, is the design and the music. Its a lot of fun caging FOEs behind barred gates for some reason =/[/spoiler]

I've been plundering the item points for cash to beef up everyone's equipment for the second stratum. Currently exploring B8F

Meanwhile, on the open seas:

I just got the [hide]Limes[/hide] which means [hide]16 moves for 20en, which is a bargain for quick fishing hunts[/hide] but I'm still stuck with [hide]sauerkraut as my best food item, 20 moves.[/hide]

I think I need to get the [hide]cannon to defeat the pirates?[/hide] I'm not sure. I found [hide]both of the cities on the western edge, and rescued their Shipwright from his cheese addiction, but they didn't improve my ship yet?[/hide] Unless I'm missing something. I was kind of sleepy and just button-mashed through the dialogue, so I might very well have missed some crucial instructions.

[hide]In order[/hide] to get the [hide]cannon[/hide], you [hide]have to first [/hide][hide]d[/hide]is[hide]cover Tortuga Island[/hide]. It's [hide]located in[/hide] the [hide]southwest portion of[/hide] your [hide]map[/hide]. [hide]After[/hide] first [hide]discovering it[/hide], re[hide]turn there[/hide]. [hide]You[/hide] should get [hide]the cannon[/hide] then.

I'm going to go back into the dungeon today... :( in between the times I'm doing my project. -_- *pouts*
