FINALLY BEAT [hide]KIRIN[/hide] ;_____;
[spoiler]Was only my third try, but still.. shogun was only Lv31 and retired Ninja was only 37, which gave me hell the first two tries. But then I had the belated idea to write down Kirin's turn-by-turn attacks, and realized it only uses Retribution on multiples of 5. Knowing when to use Aegis Barrier really helped QQ[/spoiler]
Also an extremely late thank-you to Wolkenritter for replying to my question a few pages back.~ (edit) Lucci you're so dumb, that was in a completely different thread.
... I think this is the first game in a long time that's gotten my adrenaline going during boss fights x_x;

Bah. Stupid [hide]worm[/hide] FOE's on the 3rd stratum.
[spoiler]They're not even difficult but the second they use that mud spit attack and bind my monks head it always turns south. Is there any way other than binding them to avoid that attack? I tried equipping a head guard but it did practically nothing -_-[/spoiler]

Fuck. So, at level 15 I decide to rest my characters since exploring was very comfy but the boss was too uncomfy in order to redistribute the skill points.
But apparently I'm dumb and for the Princess I put 10 points in Royal Lineage instead of Royal Veil -_-" and, confident in my skill choice, I... saved and went to the dungeon. I notice something is wrong when at EOT she heals like only 7hp and start to curse.
Now I have a Princess at level 5 bossing a level 10 party.
It was pretty funny though when I sent her in the first Sea Quest alone (with the 3 people party of NPCs) to level up, things went messy and she ended up the only survivor, the bird killed her but she came back thanks to the limit skill with 1 hp, and dealt the fatal blow, gaining a boatload of xp XD

So [hide]Scylla[/hide] is better exp than [hide]Leviathan[/hide]! If only because [hide]Scylla[/hide] is much faster to kill and is generally easier. Also unlike [hide]Leviathan[/hide], Hoplite skills aren't compulsory.
So now I've retired all my characters for some bonus skill points and stats. Also changing my Zodiac into an Arbalist. Now my party is: [hide]Shogun[/hide]/Buccaneer, Hoplite/Ninja, Monk/Princess, Ninja/Buccaneer and Arbalist/Gladiator.
So trying out my new Arbalist in battle... GOOD FUCKING GOD, LOOK AT THAT DAMAGE OUTPUT! =O
Looks like my Ninja's reign of being the highest (stable) damage dealer is over... =(

Finally got all three endings and am back to B23F, killed the [hide]Drake[/hide] along the way in the 5th stratum.
Yeah, that sucked. But I now have a better feel for what I need to do with my [hide]Dragon[/hide] strategies.
[spoiler]Also, who's bright idea was it to make the Drake the first dragon you fight?! I call shenanigans!
and poor paladin/dragonslayer-girl T^T[/spoiler]

>.< annoyed that it took me this long to realize that I should I should have used a second [hide]Yggdroid[/hide] to protect my first.
With it's higher than average HP it makes a nice shield and with the class skill of regen TP it's self-sufficient both [hide]Yggdroids[/hide] never run out of TP ..xD at least the way I'm using them..
Subclassing my defensive [hide]Yggdroid[/hide] with Hoplite for it's Bodyguard skill makes sure my HP cannon [hide]Yggdroid[/hide] doesn't die either..for the most part..there's still the issue of status effects but I'm working on that with my Prince ..
anyways it's a pretty fun combo for me at least..xD and I'm working on getting that passive counter on my defensive [hide]Yggdroid[/hide]

blahblahblahblah stupid second stratum boss!
I just can't deal enough damage before TP runs low and even with my Monk chugging Amaritas like a [hide]slut chugs cum[/hide] I just can't spam Party Heal/Line Heal fast enough to keep my fucking party stable long enough to kill the stupid thing
Raaaaarrrrrr....!

Beat the B4F Boss first time:
[spoiler]Well, I had done it before in the JP version.
This time, I was level 16 with:
Prince/Farmer/Gladiator (Hammer)
Zodiac/Zodiac
And I had two Zodiacs spamming Etheric Focus Singularitied thunder attacks. (Binary Thunder is guaranteed to find him when he dives, after all).
Using Negotiation for healing was very useful if Royal Veil was disabled. Only used 1 Medica II, a single Nectar (the farmer got crithaxxed) and a tent.[/spoiler]

Did some serious sea mapping, resting my characters to get a few different skills (Attack Order for Rika = Oh hai even more insane Front Mortar damage), and so on. Some character spoilers and a sea boss's name forthcoming.
[spoiler]Kinda debating switching Zareth's classes around (Currently Wildling/Zodiac). I dunno, Elephant's confusion causing shenanigans is nice and all + Dark Ether spammage, but other than that he doesn't really dish out any noticable damage. Not like X's level of HOLY HELL damage (6.3k damage to King Penguin with Charge + Attack Order + Charge Tactic + Wolf Howl + Eagle Eye...yuppers), but still...it's kinda poor.
I'm thinking either Zodiac/Arbalist for a dedicated elemental master or Ninja/Zodiac for 1TP Dark Ethers + a leg bind skill IIRC. Hoplite/Ninja doesn't sound too bad either now that I think about it. There's Blitzritter & Long Stride for attacking and a bunch of other useful skills to save my ass. Namely, anything start with Anti
.
Choices, choices. I might as well wait until everyone hits lv40 though (Entire team currently lv37), then make that change.[/spoiler]
