Barely [hide]beat the Wyrm after 28 turns[/hide] ...... my god that sucked DX
At least my main party of 5 is now Double-Crown, and now have a Max Level of 90. Which should definitely help later on.
Now I just need to figure out where that pesky [hide]Dragon[/hide] is hiding >_>
Also, how helpful is the Shinryuu/DragonBane sword this time around?
Anyone know?

Baaah I got the 2nd bosses hp bar to go red, and he wiped me out finally. I'm only level 21 though. It sure is nice to have time to play~
edit: try 2 didn't go as well, I stocked up on items, but forgot to assign limit skills. And last time my gladiator was equipped with a dagger, I bought it thinking it was a sword, because it had higher attack than my current sword. Anyways, he couldn't use his multi-hit skill, which turned out to suck anyways cause the 2nd boss [hide]seems to resist slash, but not pierce[/hide]
...I'll try again at level 22. One level really makes all the difference in this game, level 19 I couldn't kill an abyssal death, level 20 I demolished it. And I tried several times at 19, so it wasn't just fluke.
This game is awesome~ I need more free time like this... OH WAIT we get thanksgiving long weekend up in Canada SUCKAS!!

Alright, I think I'm finally done reconnoitering my team. For now at least. Now I just need to complete the quests I left unfinished to get everyone back to a decent level and then it's off to the 4th stratum!
*Cue the Rocky theme song*

>.< I think I might of overleveled a tad...xD just beat the game..and[spoiler] Kujura and the Princess were pretty easy for my Yggdroid duo ..xD Just kept spamming HP cannons and they both went down without much hassle..
oh and my Yggdroid duo were leveled up around 59 for the HP cannon one and about 52 for the Bodyguard Yggdroid, they did most of the work the rest of my party just sat there and looked pretty for the most part..xD though my Zodiac came in handy with its Ice prophecy move..now the issue is whether to go new game plus already or farm a little of the post game stratum..[/spoiler]

Beat it over the head until it dies.
...
[spoiler]Anyway, if you've been doing Sea Exploration Quests, you should have Aegis Defense*. That lets you become completely immune to his beam attack (which is, oddly, Bash damage) and the fight becomes super trivial at that point. The Head and Body typically just spam their row target attack so, if you have a Prince(ss), Protect Order is basically a hard counter to them.
Other than that, not sure what to say. Combined takes 200% Damage from all sources, the Head takes 100% damage from Physical, and the Body takes 100% from Elemental. Gatekeeper is basically all-in on his beam attack as nothing else he has is that detrimental to you if you can handle the beam.
*Off-hand, it's Ghost Ship for Aegis Defense; it's definitely killable by this point so I'd work on that if you haven't already.[/spoiler]

those things are so annoying. I've only killed one, and it was extreme luck, cause It kept on running away, then I just ran into it again, and by then I was out of TP, so I just said screw it and auto-battled. And I beat it. I was like, Uhh.
AND I beat the 2nd boss there at level 22. I re-set my party at level 23 to make better use of the subclassing, so I am now at level 18 and have half of b9 mapped out.

Hm. Well, you should never fight them without getting a preemptive strike (they take 4 turns to move so it's not hard to set-up a pre-emptive unless you're in a narrow hallway). High damage groups should be able to kill them before the first turn ends.
Otherwise, you need Leg Bind to stop their running and Head Bind to stop their self-destruct.

I had neither lol. No binds yet and fairly low damage output. Total fluke.
