Beat the 3rd Stratum boss with 30/30/28/28/27 party. Basically just needed to keep up on heals.

Cleared the game this morning to get the [hide]Armoroad[/hide] ending. The boss fight wasn't too bad. One boss felt like being a prick and spamming a lovely single target attack doing 300-400 dmg that removed buffs...oh wait the damage OHKOs anyone basically nevermind. Nectar II spammage solved the dying issues.

Now to go for the [hide]Deep City[/hide] ending.

So much for that worry..

[spoiler]Dragon didn't even manage to land that annoying paralyzing bind and though it hit some of my yggdroids with curse status I was lucky in that it avoided hitting any of my offensive yggdroids. So without the worry of the the paralyze bind and curse status on my offense this rematch was easier than the first times I tried..xD now Elder Dragon is up next ...I still haven't finished the 6th stratum but I'm leaving that as my reward for killing all these dragons..xD[/spoiler]

Finally vanquished the [hide]wicked queen[/hide] on the third stratum after a little leveling. While exploring the 4th stratum though I unintentionally came across the boss X_X

[spoiler]So Shin is frustrating. For the most part I do fine in the battle as long as I keep prevent order up and spam anti-cold. The problem is when the boss starts getting in the red where it begins to use that kiss move which drains health. Sometimes it's not so bad but others it'll hit 7 times or more and the the boss will heal over a thousand HP. My team isn't very offensive heavy so this obviously becomes quite the problem :( A couple turns of it and I just get overwhelmed.[/spoiler]

Scored the [hide]Deep City[/hide] ending last night. A few minor spoilers forthcoming about the bosses on this route.

[spoiler]4th Stratum boss...yeesh, status spammer and life leeching freak. I just ended up using a Formaldehyde when it was low on HP so I could grab all of its drops upon its death.

Reward....oh god a +199 ATK crossbow! I'm so using a Coupon for that and that is so going on X!

5th Stratum...first boss actually managed to put on some hurt. Then again he fell in like 4 turns cause LOL Charge'd Nine Smashes and LOL Charge'd Front Mortar + Double Action kicking in.

Second boss...wrecked it too, even if it took longer to drop because it felt like healing itself for 5k at one point (Probably should not have thrown that head bind status on it).

Charge'd Front Mortar with Eagle Eye + Attack Order doing 3k with Double Action kicking in and throwing another 3k hit in its face...fun.[/spoiler]

One more ending to get, then it's post game time.

what the fuck is wrong with 4th stratum's mobs? [hide]Big Snakeheads cast that Torpedo thing that sometimes deals 1~5dmg, sometimes it nearly instakills a row of characters (arbalist as always dies HARD) what the hell!?[/hide]

Regarding the 4th stratum monsters, [spoiler]those snakeheads are always a pain in the ass. And the cobra-looking things too. Doesn't help that they usually come in pairs. The snakeheads have a ton of health too and SEEMED to be resistant to my Ninja's Kubikiri (for the short time that I had her before she got replaced). As far as I know they have no weakness too. Half the time I would just run away from fights with them because they were not worth the time or frustration.[/spoiler]

For what it's worth, basically everything in the game resists Kubikiri/Instant Death to some degree.

I meant more resistant relative to other enemies in the same stratum or the ones before it. Though it could just be that their instant death resistance rises as you go further down into the labyrinth, but that's only a guess.

Kind of a half rant half lol moment.

3th stratum boss was really annoying.
I died several times trying to take it on and the finally decided to grind on a bunch of FOE's. After getting everyone to roughly level 39, I decided to take it on.

Rest isn't really ranting so I shall just put it in spoilers.

[spoiler]Battle went by pretty easily, the occasional panic moments when half my team would die or my reviver would die while everyone was low on health, but eventually we took down the boss... but not in a very conventional way.

Near the end of the battle, I had my summoner summon an elephant to aid in the fight, originally I was doing goshawk but it's binds didn't help too much. I had gotten the boss low on health when he recombined and prepared for that massive all team laser beam move. I quickly used front line guard and went on defensive when suddenly, elephant hits the boss and confuses him. The boss then starts spamming normal attacks, unable to finish his super charge beam move. In the confusion, my team prepares for the final blow when suddenly, the boss hits himself... and falls to the ground lifeless.

I had to hold in my laughter from seeing this since I was on my school bus.[/spoiler]
