I will be grabbing Berserker's Vow and Charge, but Pincushion is really not viable until a bit late in the game unless you have a Dark Ether tool. I mean, Buccaneers are okay damage dealers. Though if I want them to really start hurting I find they need to be Gladiator/Buccaneers instead of the other way around.

Hanging 10 - 250% Damage @ 17 TP
Pincushion 4 - 242% Damage + 6%/AGI @ 26 TP [Average damage dealt]
So it's 9 TP to basically deal 6*(AGI-1)% more damage. At ~24 AGI, that makes Pincushion 4 the same TP-to-Damage ratio, roughly, and every point of AGI is just that much better.

Hmm. Yeah, female portraits would work better with that. Males would work better with that than with only gun.
Shogun/Buccaneer could do it, I guess. But still only one kind of weapon skill, I think.

Shogun/Buccaneer can use a rapier and a gun at the same time, and by that token use skill for both.
Not a whole lot of reason to do so, but hey, if you feel like doing that.

Skills will check either weapon but it will always use the main-hand weapon to determine damage dealt.

By abusing that double skill check thing, you can make a shogun/monk do fist skills with a Katana. It's pretty fun.

Yeah, I've read about that but haven't tried it! :3 Any sort of weapon skill ought to work with that.
But for fist skills, just leaving the first armour slot empty works without Second Sword, no?

Or I guess you could do that with an Arbalist/Monk. Lose the back row damage penalty, gain the bonuses from Giant Kill. Combine it with some like Counter, and you can do some crazy amounts of damage.
