With all these items that boosts certain stats, when you retire a character that has been pumped up with these items, do they carry over to the retired character or, have these been basically wasted?

Oh hi there again~
Did they change something about the going past 70 level in EO3 ? Its not enough that I Retire 70 level character and grind up to 71 from the 30 level with the new character? Have I missed something? >.<

Wasn't EOIII the one were you needed to defeat the three dragons to get your level cap to 99? After the first you get to Lv80, after the second to Lv90 and after the third defeated dragon you can level up to Lv99.
Yes it was, so all you need to do is kill some dragons. You need to play through story mode to unlock those dragons, though. But going past the level cap is only needed for post game anyway. (Hmm.. I'm not even sure if it is necessary to go past the level cap to defeat any boss in the game. But it sure feels better to receive EXP for killing stuff.)

Don't worry about grinding/extra stats. To defeat those dragons you just need the right strategy. Meaning even grinding and extra stats won't really help you to defeat them, so don't even bother. (Though, everyone should at least be Lv65 or higher.)
