The Whip Dark Hunter's binds got distributed out. The Pirate has Head Bind (if using a Rapier), the Warrior has Arm Bind (if using a Hammer), and the Shinobi has Leg Bind (using a Ninjato/Dagger). In general, EOIII classes encourage a team strategy.

That is to say, rather than the old thing of 'Member X has function Y',
its 'Member X + Member Y = Awesome Combo Z'.

The fact that everyone can multiclass as well vastly broadens the choices and combo's even further. 8)

Technically, the Beast King/Queen can have all the binds if they invest in three different animals (Eagle, Snake and Mole), but these work like summons and you can only have one out at a time (and frankly, there are much better animals to use, like the Owl, the Bull and the Tiger).

Having at least 1 bind opens you to using Sword Warriors Bind Cutter or Ballistae Snipe for extra damage, though.

For binds, my Shogun was a Pirate, my Monk a Warrior and my Farmer a Shinobi. Took care of the dark hunter...that is, it took care of it BETTER than a dark hunter, because you can apply three binds in one round (let's ignore axcela-spam dominate in EO2 :P).

Nicely took care of all binds, which was really helpful! Some bosses are a major annoyance without binds.

For Gathering, you really rack up the money with a full team of 5 farmers, each with the +rare drop skill maxed. One farmer uses the "no encounter" skill, so you don't need to fight AT ALL, and the rest fill up on rare items. 50000-100000 a run in the final stratum, so money REALLY isn't an issue if you do it properly :3

With the Dominator Whip, Axcela's were never really needed for getting Dominate on every FoE/Boss fight you needed. Also, using three classes to inflict all three binds doesn't do it "better" than a DH ... they're each individually as good as a DH (barring Force Skill).

That said, the chance of landing a bind is easier in EO3 due to the pro-status mechanics of the game (the status formula itself and things like Beast Heart, for instance). Off the top of my head, I don't think any of the three listed classes have a better base chance than EO2 (I believe the three primary binds in EO3 are base 60% vs EO2's 65% DH) but, again, EO3 is a lot more status friendly than the prior games. Well, barring repeat afflictions and Lethal Resistances anyway.

Farmer's can also bind all three with Mystery Seed. It is random but, hey, it does work.

Monster/Boss Names:
I figured you meant that. That said, there was only one fight in EO2 that took long enough to warrant multiple Dominates really (or 4, depending on your group for the Dragons). The main perk of Dominate, though, wasn't that it did all three but that it did so with a guaranteed chance to land.

As for EO3, the repeat afflictions coding sort-of deals with the issue of multiple binds. Kraken I don't think is outside this (30% modifier to Head/Arm Bind, 120% modifier to Leg Bind so 1 Head/Arm Bind and 4 Legs to get to 0%) but you should be able to keep him Leg bound for pretty much the entire fight with minimal issue. That's all in theory, mind you, as I do recall someone mentioning no such Accuracy loss vs Kraken. I haven't messed with it much yet so ... yeah.

Edit: For the record, the repeat affliction coding is -30% to the modifier (i.e., 100% -> 70% -> 40% -> 10% -> 0%) every time a status condition is inflicted. The majority of bosses in the game have a 30% multiplier as a minimum (Dragons, Alraune, Kraken) so landing one bind isn't too hard anymore (~40-50% even on Bosses)
Monster/Boss Names:
In EO2 I meant the dragons and the strat6 boss, I found it easy to lock em down by dominating them. But true: Evildras were cake with the whip.

Kraken usually goes down before the fourth bind is needed at very low levels (and before the second at high ones, haha), so it's fine! With a farmer/shinobi the binds hit almost 100% anyway.

In E3 Alraune gave me more trouble with binds, oddly, same with the dragons, but they worked good enough. Strat 6 boss seems to ignore them, Elder dragon catches binds like flypaper (and you can bind him forever, there doesn't seem to be any repeat status penality, I could fully bind him until he died in turn 48 when I FINALLY killed him with the hammer. Stupid stupid lucky hammer and stupid me for not farming dissecting solutions).
Spoiler tags on the monsters please, thankyouverymuch. I don't want to accidentally read a boss's name in a seemingly math/class theory discussion.

Unless, say, you're talking about the
Dragon, Wyrm, or Drake, since we know they're going to appear, anyway...
Meh.
Elder Dragon has no repeat affliction mechanic; he'll always be able to be hit with a bind. That's due to the same mechanic inflicting binds on him though and I don't think this is on anything else in the game.
