Not a n00b question, is in the right spot, and I'm interested to hear, though odds are I'm prolly just gonna pick whoever I want based off of portraits and my "story" anyways XD

I'd post my list, but Scy's played the game and even if he hadn't, he'd still be right. Scy's always right.
But it really depends on what your style is.
Like, I went Pretty phys heavy in EOII, compensating with elemental weapons and a hexer with dampen and poison.
You can beat the game (not the post game, just the game) with pretty much any party, as long as it's reasonable. (an all farmer team does not count as "reasonable")
But yeah, let us know what works for you later on, alright?

Just a couple minor questions here I wanted to inquire about before EOIII comes in tomorrow at my Gamestop.
1. Are there still monster ambushes from Chop/Mine/Take points like in EOII? I remember one Mine point on EOII 28F that, I kid you not, was giving me monster ambushes 80% of the time or so.
2. Are quest rewards not sucky anymore? Gotta love doing an annoying quest and getting something mediocre like a Storm Jar.
