Okay, Scy, you say to get Clone, but I really don't understand it. (I'm sure it'd make sense if I used it, but there's a ton of SP in the way to the build) I'll trust you and get it, though, because it seems decent, but how's that Half HP/Half TP work? Do you get your HP/TP back at the end of the battle? Do you get to pick the Clone's attack?

For battle messages, FAST is the way to go if you actually don't want a wait. I don't understand either, but it's true.
@ Ninja Clone
When you say slot, you mean of the 6, right? That is to say, I don't need to run a party of 4 in order to use a Ninja's clone? (And I assume this is so that you can't have a party of 5 Ninja break the game) So if I have 3 in the front and 2 in the back, the Clone operates in the back-row slot?

The Clone takes whatever spot is left open; if you have a group of 5, the Clone takes the 6th party slot. If you have less than 5 people, you can have multiple clones. And, yes, they are fully controllable and are otherwise identical to the Shinobi that created them.
Edit: Incidentally, the game remembers your set-up. That is:
Front:
A
B
C
Back:
D
---
E
When you clone, the slot between D and E will be taken. However:
Front:
A
B
C
Back:
D
E
---
The clone takes the slot after E. It's a small thing but worth noting.
[spoiler]...at least, I think it is T.T I liked having Shinobi Zodiac Shinobi as my back-row, not Shinobi Shinobi Zodiac).[/spoiler]

Thanks so much! That makes perfect sense now. ^^
edit:
>__> I'm glad I'm the only one who obsessed over left/right/center positioning...
Which, incidentally, does positioning within a row have any influence on attack statistics? What sort of AI probabilities go into attacking?
Let's say I have three identical characters in the front row. Do all three stand the exact same chance at being hit?

I think I'm OCD to some extent. Little stuff like that drives me nuts, and I'm a total perfectionist with my work and art. If someone even marks the top corner of the page that I'm drawing with pencil that I erase, I still end up throwing it out. [hide]I JUST FOUND OUT I EB GAMES GOT MY COPY IN WITH THE ART BOOKLET!!! HELL YES!!!!!![/hide] Same with my parties. The thought of a small prince next to a Hoplite kills me, and so does name length. And I really hate how the game's maps aren't symmetrical or I have to walk an asymmetrical path to avoid foes. *Sigh...* That's my only problem with the game. M[hide]Y COPY IS IN!!! HELL YESSSSS![/hide]

Thanks Scy, great info as always. When you say "high HP" do you mean total/max or current?

Where do I get more food for my ship? Cause I can't get anywhere in just six paces.

[hide]keep exploring until you find a tower building on the west that will trigger access to more food from the nearby marine island[/hide]

Oh okay.
Next up, Ive got a level 12 party that can bind arms, legs, and head, but not much on the elemental side. How hard do you think the first boss is gonna be for me?
