[hide]Might anyone have a pattern to follow for ambushing the[/hide] first boss?[hide] >.> can't seem to get it in the right pattern yet with all that mud in the way..and it's starting to annoy me..[/hide]

This may have been answered earlier in the thread, but honestly, I just don't have it in me to read through 25 pages or sort through a crap ton of search results for an accurate response, so....
What exactly carries over in New Game+? Apparently chests don't reset (which is understandable, I guess), but what are the other aspects and quirks of it?

Okay some item finding, boss killing, and adventure filled questions. I'm not really sure what you guys are considering spoilers cause even items you guys are putting in spoiler tags/coloring it dark so you have to highlight it. Honestly don't see whats spoiler-ish about "[hide]Really expensive items[/hide]". It it supposed to be surprising that[hide] some things cost a lot[/hide]?
[spoiler]Okay, first off whats Namers conditional drop and how do you get him to drop it?.
Second is how do I open these "locked" chests.
Next up where do you get these coupons?
Does the formaldehyde work on boss drops?
Finally how do I reach the boss at the lighthouse and what level is recommended to kill it? Cause I have dried peas, but every time I get close it just hits my ship and I have to return to port.[/spoiler]

Lord Mutton Chops, whenever you see a mod spoiler/hiding things in her posts, it's probably a good idea to follow suit. Maxine and I both have very strong views on playing the game without spoilers. I was using hide function when talking about [hide]the coupon[/hide] because, as Scy mentioned, I did not want to reveal that such a concept exists, just in case Maxine or anyone else was not aware and would not appreciate becoming made aware. We're in spoiler alert overkill right now because the game is brand new.
Maxine and I must read all these posts to make sure they're within the rules, which means that sometimes we get spoiled when would rather not.

No I get the point. Don't agree, but I forget how thin skinned some people on the internet are. So, no problem kino.
[spoiler]Somehow I think my sea exploration is lacking. Since a pirate guy in the bar is talking about. I should probably go slay that lighthouse boss. Does it have any conditional drops? Something tells me it will flow like a weaker Harpuia fight from EOII (think I got the name right). So bind arms should probably help.
Oh also when do you unlock subclassing and the extra classes? Cause I got people in my guild built to just be used for retiring or situational fights that have maxed out combat study.[/spoiler]
