@Forsaken
I'm no expert but here's some things I've noticed. As far as Zodiacs go I think it's wiser to put points into singularity and ether mastery instead of elemental mastery/the star attacks (except to unlock binary/prophecy skills) if you're going the element route. I currently have only one point in each element mastery/star skill with maxed ether mastery/singularity and my damage isn't too bad when I target weaknesses. I also subbed as an arbalist for cheaper area attacks and am working towards double action which should further boost my damage without straining my TP.
For princes I think the Royal line in general is a must along with protection command. Triumphant Cry and Monarch March have really lengthened the amount of time I can spend exploring by a lot.
For the rest I can't say too much since I don't use glads or wildlings. For monk I'd vote healing over fist skills but that's just me. Fist skills aren't bad, I don't think, I'd just rather make use of their class specific skill.
Hope that helps!

@Monk:
First off, I don't really get why you have both a Monk and a Prince(ss) in the same group. It's just way too much healing, really. I'd drop one of them.
Anyway, Monks are prety basic to build. Get healing spells. Hooray.
@Zodiac:
Since you don't have a Shinobi/Zodiac to fuel Dark Ethers, I wouldn't recommend the Meteor route. Then again, Meteor is about the only redeeming quality of a late-game Zodiac so ... not sure what to say. Zodiac/Warrior if you plan for Meteors (Charge->Meteor), Zodiac/Ballista otherwise (better regular attack, cheap all-target elemental, Double Action for single-target spells).
And, yes, Singularity Theorem, Ether Concentration, and Ether Mastery beat out actual points in their skills (and/or each individual elemental mastery).
@Gladiator:
For the group you have set-up, not really sure what's their best option here. Probably to just go for Blade Rave (Swords) or Nine Smash (Hammer) depending on which you prefer. I will note that if you go Nine Smash, you want to slot +Accuracy through Forging and you'll need some form of a +Accuracy buff.
@Prince(ss)
Generally speaking, Royal Veil > Triumphant Cry. Basically, TC is the worst of the three passives. Protect Order is what you want to get after that line is worked.
@Beast King
*shrugs* I don't like the class so not sure what to do with it to be honest. Pick a summon to max, get Beast Return, and max their passives and debuffs.

Major 3rd Stratum plot spoilers!!!
Choices! Waah!
Story-wise, I want to help out the Deep City, but I really want a Shogun, too....T-T
Though, I'm thinking of just choosing the Deep City route.
My team is already able to tackle anything they'll encounter;
Shogun might help, but for my first playthrough, I want to receive the ending I want. ^-^
fffffffuuuuu
B12F WHY U DO DIS.
Why am I having so much trouble killing the Gatekeeper. Its beam attack massacres my party.
I've got a Ninja/Zodiac, a Princess/Farmer, a Gladiator/Hoplite, a Zodiac who isn't subclasses because I can't think of a good one for her, and a Monk/Prince.
I'm around level 40 partywide, seriously wtf. >_>
Tips would be appreciated.

If you're going for Meteor spam, since you have both a Shinobi/Zodiac and a Zodiac/X, I'd go Gladiator for Charge on the Zodiac.
As for Gatekeeper, if you get Aegis Defense (from killing the Ghost Ship via Sea Exploration), the fight is trivial as you can just use that to block his special. Other than that, it deals Bash-type damage so you just need a lot of Physical Defense, Line Guards, etc. to reduce it. Not ... much else to say. His split form is pretty simple since they don't do anything super devastating besides a lot of row-attacks.
Interestingly enough, he follows a strict rotation for his combined form. So, if you paralyze him, sleep him, etc. when he's supposed to do something, he doesn't "remember" that he never got the attack off and tries it again; instead, he just goes on with the rotation. Kind of interesting.

Hum I've got a question for the elemental skills based on the description of the skillsim, for example, Flame Astrology level 1 says "40% fire damage", but 40% of what, TEC? Right now I don't have a Zodiac but I think I will subclass the Ninja with it, so I'd like to konw how it works.
I do have an Arbalist with Volt barrage, so the question remains valid, but in addition it says that it combines volt and thrust, so how does the damage work in relation with resistances? Say I hit 4 enemies, one with no resistance, one with a 50% resistance to volt, one with 50% to thrust, and one with 50% to both (I don't know if it's even possible, I just want to understand the logic behind the calculations).
Related to that, what happens if I do a Chase thunder with the Buccaneer after a volt barrage? Will he hit every enemies or just one (which one?)? And the elemental chases don't work after an attack with a weapon forged with that element, or an arm enchanted with the Princess's "Arms" skills, right?
More generally, is there a FAQ for this kind of things somewhere?
