That's exactly what he's saying; dual-types are treated in such a way that they take the path of least resistance to do their damage.

3rd stratum mid boss?[spoiler]
So at the end of the hall of hot burning magma in the special holding room I run into the first Deep One battle. I managed to do some decent damage to the one who uses the protect skill, but didn't down them. Any suggestions on how to kill those two?[/spoiler]

From where and what do you obtain the [hide]Yggdroid[/hide] class armor? If there is one for it that is o.o

Two questions

First, am I the only person that enters a room, sees like four foes, stops, stalls, then quickly turns and exits for another route?

Second on the 11th floor I keep finding [hide]rocks with decorations on them[/hide] do I find a quest for these things eventually? How far away?

I just mark stuff like that on my map and come back to it when a quest hints towards something like that.
