Well let's see, I'm not sure what'll be the point of fist mastery; no skills, and maces do decently. Hoplite, well mine was defense 24/7 so any offensive builds I won't comment on it. G seems kinda odd with points in both weapons. Prince, I don't go more than one or two points in MM: rushing Protect Order (whatever one regens) and I don't prevent needs more than 1 point. Don't really have a comment on the Arbelist. And I'm not sure where you're going with that point of combat study.
Nah, just go for a path to unlock a class, and even if you wouldn't use Ygg and Sho, the true ending kinda fits after doing both paths.
Well, thanks for the advice. The resting did help a lot and I've killed Ketos. I'm now figuring out subclasses. My idea is this:
Hoplite/Ninja
Gladiator/Buccaneer
Prince/Zodiac
Monk/Wilding
Arbalist/???
I'm not sure if this is any good or not, and would appreciate any advice.

Hoplite ninja is a good idea. Not sure what the */Zodiac or */Wilding sets are for, but I would advice either Buccaneer or Gladiator for the Arbalist's subclass (Swashbuckling if you use normal attacks, Wild Swings for skills, and Charge for either).

Hoplite/Ninja - Decent enough, double the guard, double the fun.
Gladiator/Buccaneer - Alright, gonna do that Charge + Pincushion build?
Prince/Zodiac - A Prince is usually busy buffing up everybody or removing buffs from opponents, so I kinda have no idea what's the Z for.
Monk/Wilding - Well, for one, you already have another class (H/N) that'll take that sixth slot. I would probably go Monk/Prince if only because of that whole Form QI = better Protect Order and double buffing.
Arbalist/??? - What Dok said, I went for Gladiator so mine could charge up that Armor Pierce.

This has probably been asked before, but is there any point to the Agata/Hypatia side quest thing?
All I found out was that one choice will lead to Agata dying while the other will lead to Hypatia dying, and I don't recall the survivor ever returning on my first play through. So is there any point to it? Or any way to make them both survive (aside from the obvious choice of not doing it at all)?
[hide]It's just there to make you feel kind of terrible, actually. I don't think it was supposed to be that easy to miss, but if you open up the shortcuts the first time, you'll roll right past it.[/hide]

[hide]It's actually a little easy to avoid, considering that you can choose to be a jerk and not help them on the first stratum. Even after that, you need to visit two dead ends on B5F to speak with them in order for it to continue. But yeah, it seems to just be there to make you feel bad. Great event for immersion's sake and fanfiction though.[/hide]

Classified differently; they never just wear off.

Cool, I can add Waking Chakra to my build then. That should help a lot.

Honestly, Waking Chakra has no real value. Maxed out, it's just as efficient as using a Theriaca yourself. I guess if inventory space is a premium it has value but eh ... Virus Scanner is strictly better for status effects and Yggdroids are (non-self) bind immune anyway.

Actually, I just decided to get both. For the reason that I'm running a solo Yggdroid/Monk party. Pure-counter type. I wanted to make sure the enemies wouldn't be able to abuse status effects instead of attacks to kill me.

A status question this time: Boosting Agility with a weapon forge should raise my action speed, but will it also make me dodge more often? Will it have the same effect of speed as the Speed forges you can find?
Lastly, do element forges on weapons carry over to Counter/Retaliate, while using the monk/armor glitch to use weapons with fist skills?
