5-Ring Sword (540% avg) and Blade Rave (427.5% avg) are the absolute best average damage skills* for Katana Shogun or Sword Gladiators. Myoujou and Magatoki (both 450% avg) are better than Blade Rave if you go Gladiator/Shogun, though.

*Assuming we're not factoring in Warrior's Might as an option, as that's basically the best damaging skill in the game.

Edit: Worth noting, though, that 5-Ring Sword has a HUGE damage range (180% - 900%) so it's highly possible to just run into straight up shitty damage. Myoujou/Magatoki have a smaller range (300% - 600%) so it's possible to get less streaky damage, and less RNG shenanigans.

Also of note, an average level 70 Gladiator (i.e., 40 AGI) deals 530% average with Pincushion (Gladiator/Buccaneer) so that's worth a thought as well. It also scales more and, with some AGI book farming, becomes the highest damaging Physical skill in the game that isn't Warrior's Might.

Yeah, supposedly a bug that lets Inspire/Negotiation target an ally corpse and count as a kill. I've looked around for more sources, but haven't seen it mentioned again.

hey sorry if im breaking any rules (new to forums) but i had a question that i cant find an answer for. can anyone tell me where to find either the crescent or star keys? i just got to the part where you have to find olympia and i cant get to the 7th floor because i dont have the key. help please!!!

hello

first of all, you don't need a key to get to the 7th floor, did you go back to the Senatus?

the Star key can be found after defeating the second stratum boss, south of the staircase down (B6) on the 8th floor

the Moon key is given to you (i forgot when :X)

those keys only open certain doors that lead to optional routes

its been awhile since i've played ><

ohhh i feel really stupid now. i just looked at the maps you guys have and i was trying to head to the alternate stairs that lead back up. well thanks anyways...
