Re: EOIII Questions thread
Overheat at 3 is really tame (Only 5 HP) and nets you access to EM barrier, the only passive counter-attack in the game, with a permanent 50% chance to counter attack any attack with a volt attack, with a chance of Paralysis. (Another reason I love Y/H.)
HP cannon builds (not like anyone would use one) are best to be protected by a Hoplite at all times with a rally order up (or you could just get them to higher levels with a few levels in HP UP), spam attack of your choice, and then core dump and spam HP Cannon while your health is down. The disadvantage of not getting a protect order on that row w/o killing damage output is a giant turn off, and if you start the fight with 999 HP it actually takes a bit for the Yggdroid to kill itself.

Re: EOIII Questions thread
ooh just 5, eh? yeah thats a drop in the bucket.
EM Barrier makes me also think about Y/S for Daifuhensha as well....
I also wonder how it ties in with Ninja's Nikudan/Shadows (haha multiple HP cannons!!!)

Re: EOIII Questions thread
I'll second that, it sadly doesn't seem to be as effective as it would seem with that in mind, and it only triggers when you get the "XXX is defending" message.

Re: EOIII Questions thread
Yes, Keburi no Sue is amazing, the only thing it can't do is make skills free, minimum cost becomes 1. This is why people pair it with Zodiac for 1 point dark ether, especially when using high cost skill teammates (Front Mortar is a giant chunk out of an arbalist' TP), but this can also be used to reduce the cost of a lot of subclass effects, think about monk's full heal and revive, or the Prince's buffs.
Plus with the amazing dodge+tp recovery combo the ninja has to fuel all this, even the higher TP cost skils are easily in their reach to just spam to your heart's content. Of course, you still have their low HP pool and access to only clothing instead of armor to deal with...
but their skills at least can deal some really decent damage when putting at least 1 point into their subclass's weapon of choice. Ninja can be really universal as just about anything but the absolute most powerful damage dealers (until you start delving into books), and damage soakers, and healers. And of course, some combos are beyond them, oh well, you have 4 other spots, and can always double their output with a little Bunshin (which is why i have a Princess/Ninja)!
And in Deutsch, there is no 'W' sound, it is pronounced with a V. I can't even play Front Mission with the new voice actors calling them 'Wanzers' and not 'Vanzers', like they used to. Having German grandparents spoils you for some things ^^

Re: EOIII Questions thread
A bunshin clone would stay in the same place and not change at all(same as if the clone died except the clone's HP, TP, and position would stay the same not the original). I'm not sure what would happen to a shadow clone(It would probably just disappear). If you want get your second hidden class, you have to beat the game and start a new game+; you can only unlock one per play-through.
