I'm pretty sure they mentioned the words Field On Enemy in a trailer for EOIII, but wow, Formido Oppugnatura Exsequens sounds so awesome.

While I'm unsure about the trailer bit, Drathi is wrong (if I'm reading his post correctly - I'm not really sure). In no place in the EO games is "Field On Enemy" mentioned in game.

Oh hey, I stand corrected. I went back and watched some of the EOIII videos and it spells out Formido Oppugnatura Exsequens on the FOE video. And I just checked my game manuals, they both don't say anything. Oh well.

Nor does my Dutch EO1 manual. Weird. I was sure I'd read that acronym somewhere.

I don't wanna know how you know about that Zeta...

? I thought it was a pretty popular reference.
