Technically, every character portrait is "genderless". There is nothing in the code that changes stats whether the character portrait is "male" or "female", so I really don't care what the generally accepted "gender" is for each portrait.

I've been so excited for this game since... a few weeks ago, I think? It looks like it's going to be good, although I do miss the orange ball FOEs. I bet they're going to make FOEs that have the same colour scheme as the scenery so that we can't see them easily. ;___;

I'm going to have such a hard time trying to pick just 5 for my main party. The female portraits (and the "wait that's supposed to be a dude" swordsman) are all so cute! ;v; My hoplite was/is a lifesaver in EO3, so assuming the fortress is similar to hoplites, I'm probably going to make one of those (second female, most likely).

Also, in one of the new pictures it appears as though the Somnovore (At least that's what they're called in EO3) is coming back. I hate those things.

The background of the System → "Town's people and establishments"/Tarsis (街の人々と施設) screen shows a dog's bowl and chew toy. I bet there'll be a quest to rescue that dog from the Labyrinth..
