Although all of the games borrow from mythology to varying extents.

I know, but up till now EO seemed above blatantly copying such a generic fantasy beast.

Argh. You know what I mean.

No, I'm pretty sure I said I liked the human-like humanoids, but disliked the half-beast half-man type. If it didn't come out like that that is what I mean. I liked how each game had a mysterious human-like being, and EOIV has that too, but then I don't see why we need another that is so borrowed. I wouldn't mind fighting a Minotaur as an enemy, but I dislike having them as a race of people in the lore of EO. I don't know how to explain how I feel properly.

Hold on! Let's not gang up on Zamisk guys. Or whatever you'd call this. He's entitled to his own opinion and like him we've all had some things we felt weren't right in the EO universe. Lets just see how this class turns out and when we've all had our share of it let's give this discussion another try. (Although I'm pretty sure it'll come up one way or another lol)

I think the entire 3rd game was out of place with the rest of the series. I liked it that way.

Aside from some stuff in EOIII, everything in the series (new races and monsters included) has been fully explained giving as an answer one way or another.

I'm sure that the Beastmen will be explained in a similar fashion.

@Zamisk- I don't think minotaurs are going to be the whole race, if that makes it any better. o: I saw a lion-man portrait amongst the human class portraits in one EOIV video, so I'm assuming we'll get some species variety.
... unless you meant you didn't like the idea of animal-people in general. In that case, feel free to ignore me. xD

Looks like alt. colours are back, by the way. I guess it's not surprising that they kept it, but I'm glad to know they did! As for the beastman class, I've only seen the Leomon guy, so I'll need to see some other portraits before I decide if I like them or not. I wasn't super fond of the regular beast class in EOII, but beastmen look like they might be a little better.

And oh my goodness the Mystic girls are adorable. ;___; Second male Mystic reminds me of Ghirahim, haha.

- All four Mystic twitter pics have been posted in the "Special" section.
- "Promotion Movie 2" is now in the "Special" section.

Hoping I'm allowed to say this without striking up a massive debate, the mystic class looks fantastic. That's more the kind of mysterious pale human-types that is an EO tradition. I realize there are other pale human-types in other mythology around the world, but these have a nice EO feel to them.

Promo movie 2, @0:39. Looks like the beastperson class will have at least a white lion character. Around 1:41, it seems the Mystic folks hang out among Inca design-looking backgrounds.
