I played several hours this morning, because it's the first free time I've had all week besides a one-hour nap. I have BF3 of the first dungeon mapped out, as well as every cave and the whole of the Windy Plains, but I'm not ready to take on the boss quite yet. Still, I am starting to really enjoy this game. Can't wait to get out of generic forest zone and see what this game really has to offer.

Do we ever find out just what's in Whirlwind's locket?
In some, blink and you miss it hard to get to dialogue?

Chaser skills (landsknecht attacks following an elemental attack) were in 1 & 2 IIRC.
The links in 4 go first and result in elemental bonus attacks by the other character's attacks following them that round.
With the Vanguard Skill the Landsknecht goes first in a turn, Improved Link increases the number of follow-up attacks and Link Mastery increases the damage of each added attack.
The latter works very well with Dancer's 'Sword dance'

i thought they still followed purely elemental attacks (because i only remembered the runemaster's ice multi-hit attack) but thats probably BECAUSE it was multi-hit

Yes, but i saw it tick very often at regular attacks, meaning it ticked with 'sword dance', meaning a dancer with two weapons can easily do 8 attacks or so in a row at time, add to that the landsknecht having improved link on and link mastery, this means you get 8 ticks with constantly increasing damage from the dancer and maybe even more form the other characters.
