In all honesty, so far I'm having a much easier time I think then I recall having my first play through. :\ not that I remember too well. Still... I've not died once. I think I recall having died at least once by now. But I've seriously not even come close.... hrrm, maybe I'll look back at my old rants in this topic.

Ls usually take advantage of Vanguard+Initiative for damage/accuracy boost and going first, especially for links. You could equip boots on it and make sure not to give the N boots, but since N is such a fast class, it probably won't work. Rapiers are also faster than swords, so maybe if you combined both of those...
I wouldn't worry about it too much though- if it's an foe/boss fight you should probably be using Vanguard already, and if it's not you won't have Improved Link on either so all you need is a single person moving after your Landy.
Granted, the only person who actually normally moved after the L in my party was the F. >_>;
But yeah, A/M is pretty great. I always just used Party Heal instead of Dismiss Heal, though- I've never used any dismissal skills, max Party Heal with Heal Mastery is sufficient. It sure does eat up a lot of points, though, I have to admit- using Dismiss Heal and just forgoing that entire line of skills in the healer subclass wouldn't be half bad to save skill points >_>; You could just have the sub for Revive/Auto-Revive and Refresh/Unbind.
For D/M... Healing Step and Party Heal have the exact same heal power per level, it's just that Party Heal is more expensive. It's invaluable to have -someone- sub medic though, support Dancers have the time for it, and Steady Hands actually gives you a pretty killer Regen Waltz... so it's not a bad choice at all.

I'm still stuck about who I'm replacing my Medic with, though. Do Imperialists make good back row members? I can't recall.
My team is going to be (and this is disregarding subclassing which I have not decided on yet)
L, N, D
?, A
Currently it's
L, N, D
M, R

*mutters* I think it's just going to have to be a Sniper. I was just not really impressed with mine the last game that I played (binding just SUCKED), but DAMN if I put my Dancer in backrow I lose the line abilities that I want to go for my front row people (specifically nightseeker). Nightseekers are too powerful to place in the back and I'm going to be using an Arcanist for my status ailments.
So I'm thinking it's going to be like this:
L, N, D
S, A
Though I'm starting to play with the idea of replacing my Landsknecht with an Imperial, but I've got some time to think about that since they don't unlock until nearly the end of the game.
For subclassing playing with:
L/F, N/A or N/L, D/M
S/A (has to be otherwise their bind rate is shit), A/R

I'm not sure having 3 Arcanist classes in the party is really necessary :V If you're using the Arc for status ailments, sub the N for a damage class instead, you'll be able to nearly double the damage it deals instead of making it's throws slightly more accurate.
You've got plenty of time to think about switching L for I, and it wouldn't be a bad choice.
Mostly it looks fine, though. I personally wouldn't bother subbing F on the L because the potential damage loss is painful and it's hard enough for an F to take the shielding damage as it is, but Ls are durable enough to do the job and if you want the extra survivability then that's really the only good way for you to get it in this party.

Yeah I've not decided how I want to go with my Nightseeker yet. If I want the Ailment boost or if I want to go for extra damage. S/A is integral because in my last game that's the only way that I felt I got any good use out of that class. I'm really still not sold on a Sniper for that position, though. I'm starting to think maybe I'll just keep my medic and sub her as the Fortress instead so I can do something more useful for my Landsknecht as you've just suggested. So that way even if my medic is not dealing out damage then at least she's handling the defense. I just hate to feel like I've pretty much got a four member party here in terms of damage.
Then again last time I did focus on trying to make my Sniper a binder so maybe I missed out on something with it, but I was seriously unimpressed with her.

M/F isn't a good idea IMO; Rampart to keep the M alive and strike or element guard would be okay but you're planning on subbing something else as your Medic and an M/F will fall over dead if you use any Ally Shielding skills, which is most of the point of having an F at all.
Sniper can do good damage with Squall Volley, but you basically have to build around it with your equipment loaded on HIT boost (dual wield HIT weapons with HIT acc gives almost 100% hit w/o ACC buffs or leg bind, though). In other news, Eagle Eye is like, 35% defense debuff, which is twice as strong as most debuffs- it's actually really good at max and helps your Sniper increase party damage even if the sniper is just binding.
But yeah, if you have an Arc based on status effects, then you shouldn't need to give an Arc sub to the N.

Thing is that she'll be using an Arcanist for status ailments- so, her Nightseeker shouldn't need to bother even leveling them up past prerequisites until it's got spare points. Venom Toss is pretty great for randoms regardless, though (still has almost 100% acc there without Ailment Boost) and can have some boss use if the Arc doesn't spec poison circle past prereq.

His? A-are we still referring to me or something else and I've lost the thread of the conversation?

Sorry, I generally just refer to everyone on the internet as a guy by default unless I already know them ;_; I'll go edit it, though :3

Why a guy?! That's so sexist! Geez, considering when I first was on the internet the thinking was "girls can't be webmasters OR gamers" I had thought we had come a long way from such thinking. Tch, I remember when I was a novelty. I would post under the name "Maxine" and then I would reveal "oh by the way I'm a girl" after MONTHS of being on a forums and I would get the "HOLY SHIT YOU'RE A GIRL?!" response. Many of them my best friends even T-T
*hits him over the head with a paper fan* CHANGE YOUR WAY OF THINKING!

Well it's either refer to everyone as a guy until corrected or refer to everyone as a girl until corrected, and the general go-to pronoun people use when not knowing (or when one isn't applicable at all) is the male ones anyway >> I guess I could always use gender-neutral options but that'd be a pain.
I didn't even notice there was a Gender tag on the side of posts until this discussion occurred and I generally don't think about someone's gender before using he/she (when I don't know them), because most people don't mind that much if you get it wrong one time.

I/B, N/I, D/M
R/A? or maybe S/R, A/R
I'm thinking of this being my ultimate team... Keep in mind I'm wanting this to ultimately also be a post game team.
That damn spot in the back row is pissing me off. I really don't want a Sniper. So i was thinking of doing a Runemaster and subbing as an Arcanist for the tp skills.
