Just wanting to make sure everyone knows Simon Yorke's PV is now on the official site.

^_^; I'll try to report this this Friday. Sorry, I've been preoccupied and Ex is away for finals.

Also there was this info that I needed to post up last Friday. Forgot about it over the weekend (*cough* after beating EOIV final boss what do you expect from me? ok... it's not really an excuse) now it's caught up in the same pile as the video. Sorry guys.

Most of it is recap. The video gets REALLY interesting around 2:10. Faster battles (what we expect) but now with faster walking speed (I forsee this as a dangerous way to miss shortcuts) and... apparently auto-map can do more now than just draw in floors for you - you can also set it to draw in walls. For those naysayers against the map drawing aspect I suppose. I'm going to guess it will not insert icons for you or tell you if a shortcut is nearby.

I'll get this stuff posted up by Friday. x_x right now I'm tired, my dad is in the hospital, so forgive me. I'm really not in the mindset for games.

Other stuff I noticed:

A new stratum?! - 00:15

Voiced battles/Everything else - ~00:30 or so

New common monsters/FOEs (and maybe bosses)

And of course, snippets of the gorgeous arrangements of the already fantastic music.

Man, this is looking better and better!

I always liked drawing my own map, I seriously think it's one of the best things about the series.

New auto-map option is very tempting, but I guess I won't use it at all since this was what made me love this series. Auto-mapping floor will be all I need I guess.

I still wonder what L-Change means with On, Off and Double options.
And faster combat and moving... I think I will enjoy that for grinding (and auto-piloting XD)

Although drawing maps doesn't bother me, it's not what I play the series for and I'll likely turn automapping on to save myself the effort.

And I turned out used another color to map teleport location once I realized that .

Edit: but the problem is that I have insufficient color for the very last floor......

My problem with the L-Change is about it's name. What exactly does L stands for? As for the speed change, PV2 shows that normal navigation as well as the combat speed can be speed up, so I don't think it's about the L button for auto-battle.
