That Medic portrait looks weird. Lumi gone berserk
I like the idea of additional portraits, but they're going to be way too expensive for what you get. Unless maybe one DLC includes portraits for all 4 characters of a class or something like that...

On a positive note (don't look at me that shocked, people):
Apparently you now can see what's in the grimoire stones right after you got them. and, according to a friend they get a special place in the inventory, so they don't eat up space anymore.

I'd say that's an improvement.

There's something else in the trailer that made me wonder:
There are some scenes from the new dungeon that strike me as 'multi-level interaction'
as in, you do something on floor X and it affects stuff on floor Y.
Can anyone confirm this?

I would count what garrett said, but not necessarily the elevators. Neither the scales in the Golden Lair in 4, for example, as those just affect things on the same floor.
But if you have things like, i dunno, you have to go to the 4th floor in order to release a chain that lowers a bridge on the 2nd...

Inter-floor events have been around at least as far back as the second stratum in the original EO, where you can defeat a monster in order to restore a healing spring at the same tile on the floor below.

I just realized that they showed the in the 1st trailer. The plot twist must be pretty huge if they are going to show theof the original game like that.
