So there is more DLC now. I don't know how I feel about this one.

If it had no generic voices again, at least I want third company character DLC. Seiken Densetsu?

Next game EO5, I want character making system is free making design instead of current. (Radiant Mythology or 7th Dragon 2020)

Unless they are making Untold to bring in an 'overall' continuity.
Therefore it wouldn't be surprising if they'd remake all previous games and probably have 5 be in the same vein as Untold.

Well, as you pointed out to me various times, they have a bit of financial trouble. So I would not be surprised if they'd do that thing to the main series in order to appeal to a more mainstream audience.
next thing you know EO will play out like Conception 2 (also atlus)

Continuity between EOU and EOUII is not suprising : in the original EOII you had references to EO and you could transfer data from EO to EOII, proving that you were the adventurers who saved Etria (they're the only games in the series so far to do this).

I won't be surprised a bit if they reference EOU in EOUII, and that will not prove anything about Untold being the main EO series. Also, the purpose of "Untold" is to re-tell a story, it can't become the main story. If they continue to make new story, this will EO5 and not EOU5 (even if they can take some elements from the Untold games to the main games).

There was this bitchin' Etrian Odyssey pocket knife that I wanted so badly but I could never find one. :(

Just saw the E0UII protagonist highlight video. It's actually somewhat interesting.

I haven't checked the news on this game in a loooong time. The first video that graces my eyes is this one.

Other than that, from all the other news I've seen, this game looks IMMENSELY better than the first Untold, and that's coming from one of the few people who actually really liked Untold. The music, both new and remastered, all sounds top-notch. I like it that you can also use the Highlander as a class in Classic Mode; from a gameplay perspective, I really did like using the Highlander. If the team from Untold 1 shows up (Which, imo, is practically guaranteed), then this game will pretty much be referencing every Skyseek Division appart from the Tharsis Division. In fact, this game looks so good, that it actually might make be a bit excited for an EOU3, but I suppose I should would until I actually play it before I judge it good enough to say that EO3 even needs a remake (I'm sure many of you would agree if I said that apart from graphical differences EO3 holds up pretty dang well to EO4). Hopefully Persona Q will pacify my need for Etrian Odyssey until this game comes out. HYPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Anyone know if EOU2 is actually getting a translation? EMD was kind of forced by a leak, but Atlus have been promoting it quite heavily lately. But EOU2 hasn't even been announced yet IIRC. I know the Untold Story Mode has been criticized a lot here, but it'd be surprising if Atlus wouldn't translate EOU2. So what could be holding up an announcement?

I personally wonder if they are keeping this one down to build up hype for EMD. I think EMD is so odd in terms of gameply that there could be the risk in their minds that maybe an EOU2 might overshadow it?

Or maybe the team is just bogged down working on EMD that they don't have enough energy to put into EOU2.

I cannot believe for a second that they would release EMD and not release EOU2.
