It appears it's as they say; Heavy damage class, but it appears that they're more fire and almighty-based or do physical damage skills too.

Yeah, Warlock can either focus on stronger fire, ice and volt, or dip into slash, pierce and crushing, apparently along with some binds and ailments.

Warlock is like a fusion of War Magus and Alchemist Class, I guess.

Its unfortunate the Dragoon is the tank class. I really like it's design the most and a front line rifle tank seems super neat.

however, I have never and will never do a first playthrough with a tank class.

I'm a masochist. Plus I refuse to subscribe to the notion they are so required for the main game. Always hurts in the post game needing to level them up anyway for the elemental shields, but eh. I'm sticking to my GUNS on this one.
